Being homeless isn’t easy, especially when you find out your friend is a killer…

James needs to get away from Todd, but they're miles from civilisation, and James hasn't got a clue where they are. While they’re trampling through the forest, leaving a dead body behind them, he plans his escape for when the time is right. For now, it’s better the devil he knows.

Detective Colin Broadly is at a crime scene—at a manor that has featured far too much in his life recently. The murdered man is called Max and was reported missing years ago. Why has he turned up now? And who would want to kill him?

James and Todd reach the East End. James asks someone for help, and he’s directed to a pub, The Angel, where he speaks to Lisa. She’s in with The Brothers, gangster twins George and Greg, who may help him—and do God knows what to Todd once they find out what he’s done.

But life is never smooth for James. Things skew sideways, and he finds himself somewhere he doesn’t want to be. Now George and Greg have a runaway killer on their hands, and they must find him before he commits another crime—something he does with no remorse whatsoever…

This is 47th book in this series and I loved it.

Greg and George have met someone who is totally cold. Killing comes naturally to them and now he has now come to their attention.

The twins are fair but ruthless
They kill but have rules they follow

Read to find out how they exact their punishment.

I can guarantee that you will love it. You are in for a surprise with Greg. When his anger shows the punishment is severe
