You have to buy this book in order to get the CDA -- which costs over $400 to apply for, by the way. But the CDA is an actual thing that preschools and childcare providers use in hiring. I just think that sucks. I think it sucks to charge so absurdly much to have somebody review a portfolio and a test. The book is just a plain old book, but you have to have it. And you have to read it. So I did! But it all sucks. And it really is the lowest-level of knowledge there is for childcare. I learned very little.
