Forensic archaeology is mostly defined as the use of archaeological methods and principles within a legal context. However, such a definition only covers one aspect of forensic archaeology and misses the full potential this discipline has to offer. This book was required reading for my Forensic Anthropology and Archaeology class at uni. Mainly focusing on Chapter 44: Forensic archaeology and the Australian war dead the reading gave a great perspective on the topic. It was very well written and very understandable.
