The seasons in Wisteria Hollow have always flowed in harmony… until now.
Mari never imagined she would inherit her grandmother’s mantle as guardian witch of the Hollow. She only wanted to tend her ivy-draped cottage, share tea with neighbors, and maybe enjoy the company of a certain quiet forest fae. But when autumn’s leaves fall too fast, winter’s frost arrives too soon, and whispers stir beneath the ancient oak, Mari realizes the balance of the seasons is unraveling.
With the Winter Solstice approaching, Mari must uncover her grandmother’s secret and gather the courage to lead the ritual that could restore harmony—or watch her beloved village slip into endless winter. At her side stand her loyal (and opinionated) cat Pandora, the ever-patient Rowan, and the lantern-lit warmth of her neighbors. Yet even with their support, the longest night of the year will test Mari’s heart, her magic, and her place in the Hollow.
Curl up with this heartwarming tale of hearth magic, found family, and the courage to embrace who you were always meant to be. Perfect for fans of cozy fantasy, cottagecore charm, and gentle romance.

The Wisteria Cottage Witch and the Solstice Secret by Dael Astra Published September 20, 2025
🎗️Mari never imagined she would inherit her grandmother’s mantle as guardian witch of the Hollow. She only wanted to tend her cottage, continue baking enchanted goodies to share with her neighbors and townspeople; while enjoying the company of Rowan, a quiet forest fae, and her cat familiar Pandora. But when autumn’s leaves fall too fast, and winter frost arrives too soon, there are whispers stirring beneath the ancient oak that alert Mari the balance of the seasons is unraveling. The seasons in Wisteria Hollow have always flowed in harmony… until now.
🎗️ In book one there was a mending of a bond- of friendship between the village and the woods, the ppl and the pixies, the witches and dryads... The charming sweet romance continues between witch Mari and elf Rowan-- protectors of the enchanted forest and the quiet green magic that surrounds them.
➡️In book two of this sweet duology, with the Winter Solstice approaching, Mari must uncover her grandmother’s secret and gather the courage to lead the ritual that could restore harmony—or watch her beloved village slip into endless winter.
🔮At her side during a wonderfully descriptive scene of this incantation ritual stand her loyal (and opinionated) cat Pandora, the ever-patient forest elf Rowan, as well as new characters: her grandmother’s friend Evelyn and Elder Hawthorne. Yet even with their support, the longest night of the year will test Mari’s heart, her magic, and her place in the Hollow as we meet "The Spirit of Winter Lady".
❤️This is book two in a heartwarming tale of magic, found family, and the courage to embrace who you were always meant to be. It is perfect for fans of cozy fantasy and cottage core charm. The romance is a gentle, sweet 1🌶️rating. I needed this in an anxious world. Good for all ages.

*This was a virtual voice audio, but it was really good! Most of the time I totally forgot about that.👍
I love this book! And the first one too. They are warm cozy books about finding where you belong. Full of charming characters, a wonderful cat, fae (and other “folk” of all types), Magick, healing, no editing issues, and no cliffhanger ending. The description calls it “heartwarming”….and it certainly lives up to that. It, and the first book, are perfect “curl up in a comfy chair with a nice blanket, a cup of tea, and enjoy” kinda books. I highly recommend them both….read in order though or you miss the back story.
