During the football cup final, the host stadium is plunged into darkness. The consternation of the crowd is quickly transformed into panic as an explosion obliterates a large portion of the stadium. After being separated from his father, Paul finds himself alone in a foreign city that is being ravaged by an unknown foe displaying a single minded intent to wreak havoc and destruction. He is determined to find his father and return to his family, but little does he realise that the threat is not contained in the city, it is of far greater magnitude.
