Upon learning about Jennifer’s troubled past and her abusive ex-boyfriend Eric, Adam takes it upon himself to protect her.

Years ago, Jennifer made Shoreton Point her home. Teaching wasn’t just a job for her—it was her true passion, her calling.
Word spreads quickly when hometown hero Adam Thompson returns to Shoreton Point for a few months. With his natural charm, Adam easily wins people over, but his loyalty to Jennifer never wavers.
