I read this book twice in disbelief as to how it ended. Like what a cliffhanger Pressure was stuck. I wonder if he’ll snap out of it before Pluto car makes it out of the estate. I can’t wait to see how he handle this situation.

It’s a book..it’s just a book! 😩😭 Pressure choosing Kash hurt me because he doesn’t love her and him choosing her because she “held him down” is ridiculous and she’s too stupid to understand that. Every time he talks about Pluto, he says she’s his peace, he loves her and she didn’t run because things got rough! Pluto left to protect her sister and Pressure is too emotionally immature to realize that! 😩😩 I shed real tears and screams when he asked Kash to marry him with that unemotional ass proposal! You held me down so ima hold you down…what!!!!!??!! Does Kash not hear what I heard??! Bitch stand up!

SMH I’m so aggravated…
First of all I want to square up with everyone in this book. Pluto, I get she was scared. However, how many times does this man have to drop everything and come running when you call to see he loves you? He’s showing you and showing up for you in ways your own parents haven’t. You still can’t tell he loves you?
Kashmere is conniving and was wrong for how this all went down. Had she been honest with her friend from the beginning this could’ve been avoided. They were both dead wrong for not being honest about their friendship. This chick is just bad vibes all around. Her intentions aren’t pure, I can feel it.
Even though the ladies had their hands dirty in this, Pressure’s was the dirtiest. He should have kept sex out of the equation period! He was so indecisive and blinded by lust. He knows Kashmere isn’t the one. His parents have told him as well. He knew he was sleeping with both women and nothing good would come from it. I feel like he purposely tried to hurt Pluto back because his ego was bruised. Now he’s the one looking dumb because uno reverse and oh you messed up my boy. Now he’s going to see the real Kashmere. She isn’t as loyal and down as he thinks she is. Like his Dad told him, you can let the wrong person in and they can destroy the kingdom. Well, he just let a bomb into his kingdom. 🤦🏾♀️ they got me 32 hot. I can’t wait to see how this plays out.

All the back and forth these folks did had me smh. As a friend you don’t go after a man your friend is checking for. Whew that was definitely not the ending I was expecting. There were some lessons learned here good & bad above love & decisions. There were some small grammatical mistakes.

Let me be so serious when I say this book had so much back-and-forth that I was starting to feel like I was in the relationship. Respectfully, I started skimming like a college student the night before finals because baby… my brain could not keep up.
Now Pluto… GIRL. I need you to come to the front of the congregation. Because why were you stressing me out like this?? Sis was giving “I communicate in riddles and vibes only.” Pressure is over here with a whole empire to run, and Pluto is talking to him like she’s sending him cryptic tweets.
Like girl, USE YOUR WORDS. Tell that man the WHOLE reason you can’t just leave, not these three-sentence drive-by explanations. I’m sorry, but the way she kept running → wanting him → running again → warning him → running AGAIN… ma’am. This was not a marathon. And honestly? I see exactly why Pressure didn’t pick her. He does not have time to be diving through emotional obstacles like this is American Ninja Warrior.
Now Kashmere… friend. I don’t even know. Sis was a wild child with a capital W. I still don’t like how she threw Pluto under, over, and THROUGH the bus like it was nothing. And then to turn around and say “Pluto left for weeks and didn’t say anything,” when you KNOW her sister has a whole medical condition and is in the hospital frequently?? Like do we not think? Do we not consider? Do we not use context clues?
But let me be fair — the book was not horrible. It was just giving “dragged out drama because tension must be created” and I respect that. Sometimes chaos is necessary for character development… even if the characters refuse to develop.
Overall? I’m entertained, confused, stressed, and still reading. Which means the author did her job. And I’ll be seated for book three like it’s reality TV reunion night. 🍿📚😂

He Chose… But Baby, He Chose Wrong 😩💔
This just got a lot messier than I expected. Pressure should’ve taken time away from both women to really process who he wanted as his wife. I’m glad Zurie finally got her surgery and that’s no longer what’s holding Pluto back, ‘cause sis was in a tough situation. Pressure was willing to risk it all for her, but I just wish he gave her the grace to fully get her affairs in order when it came to her little sister, Zurie.
Everybody’s communication is a mess—too many emotions left unspoken and way too many words unsaid. I was rooting for Pluto, the underdog, and I can’t lie… Kash got on my nerves with that throw-rocks-and-hide-your-hands energy. Pressure loves the hell out of Pluto, that’s clear, but whatever he’s got with Kash feels more like lust mixed with loyalty. She’s solid, I’ll give her that—but still, it’s giving temporary, not timeless.
It played out exactly how I thought it would, and that cliffhanger? Yeah, I don’t think Pressure saw that one coming. Even his parents were rooting for Pluto, so that should tell you everything. The choice is made—but did he choose right? My heart aches for Pluto.

I hate Pressure…
Pressure is the most selfish, flaky, self absorbed dude I’ve ever read about. I hated him. He expected everyone to give their everything to him while he was only loyal to the women while he was in between their legs. He grossed me out how freely he slept with all of those women unprotected. Then got mad when people weren’t sure about him. I hated everything about this. The writing was great…I hated how the women turned on each other instead of HIM. It all gave me the ick.

it’s a good read but…
OK, I really enjoy the characters but I feel like pressure is more confused than anything lol. He let Tony stay knowing that she wasn’t anything more than just like a homegirl. Then Pluto has a reason to be leave because she love her sister more than life in but she’s confused too! I’m not for sure why he even let the ex come in. I wish they would’ve wrapped it up in book 2 but I guess I’m curious on how they’re going to put this 3rd book together! One more thing it’s funny how the friends came in the game thing for the same reason, but yet she pointed out Pluto when she was basically on the same thing which I thought was kind of weird, and Pluto didn’t have a comeback and say like you were here for the same reason

I truly believe Kash is hiding something that Pluto knows, but Pluto is a real one and will not tell it. Kash only changed for the time to win the prize. Pressure just wanted to hurt Pluto like she hurt him. I really enjoyed watching the growth of Pressure and I'm glad he couldn't have sex with Ka'mari. Like you said Pluto told him of her responsibility, Im glad she stood on it.

Choosing a woman based on her hanging in there is like a participation trophy.
Sounds like he’s afraid of responsibility. He’s upset that she could’ve used him for money. Why offer a prize in the first place. Plus his reasons of choosing a wife are just as bad.

Pressure is such a little axx boy to me and the way he handled Pluto had me cursing him out. He is so damn selfish and stupid. Pluto did not run or shut him out she had to be there for her sister it wasn’t like she left him or didn’t come back because she was playing games or that she simply wanted to, she left to ensure her sister was well and safe. He acted as if he understood but from his actions and the way he did her for Kashmere tells me everything I need to know. Even if he does realize what’s in front of him in part three, I still don’t like his stupid dumb axx. I feel like Pressure held Pluto more accountable than he did Kashmere without hearing both of them. He didn’t wanna hear shxt she had to say but listened and loved on Kashmere.
And that hoe Kashmere definitely played her cards when she tried to put Pluto on blast like she didn’t have her own damn motives. And to place all the blame on Pluto in regards to their friendship had me wanting to come through the phone and smack her because from the first time her and Pressure was alone she was being a thot pocket. She never once stood on the reason why she signed up to be in the house in the first place. When Pluto spent the night in his room the first time and mentioned how happy Pluto looked afterwards should have been enough to not cross those lines with Pressure.
I hope Pluto boss up on Pressure and make him bite the dust for playing with her and for being selfish. Kashmere was playing the game and used her body regardless if Pressure paused the physical activity after that moment with Pluto.
Neither one of them deserved to see her hurting or down because I swear Kashmere going to show her true colors. If she could do that to someone she called a sister knowing what was going on with Zurie to begin with imagine what she would and could do to Pressure.

Honestly, Kash and Pressure deserve each other. Pluto isn’t perfect but she definitely deserves better than Pressure. He’s literally the worst type of man — he just has money. I think she should have an abortion 🤷🏽♀️ and be completely done with his ass.

Come on Book 3!
Kash been moving real suspect and lying to herself because she wants to be chosen. She has feelings of inadequacy from her Mom and her mother was quick to attempt to betray her. Pressure has sympathy about Kash's family dynamics, but he doesn't see Kash did the same betrayal to Pluto. Pluto was up front to Kash. She shared her feelings immediately and early. It was Kash that sided with other contestants against Pluto knowing her plight all too well. I'm almost salty how I need book 3 immediately! Also, Pressure be real! He said a lot in the moment and felt different later. Ain't checked on Toni at all, but they gotta trust him. Chile, puhleeze! He told Kash about children if she wanted a boy, girl or both but was tense when she said she was late. He was cool and supportive, but he wasn't ready or want that with Kash even though he wants children. He held a online contest with a cash prize! So him being mad or distrustful of Pluto is crazy work. Pluto went back home to a whole uncomfortable situation after her sis has another serious episode. She, left the dresses and gifts but then she is accused of being money hungry? Again, I need Book 3, LOL!

This is my very first series by Sha Jones, and let me just say—what an introduction! Certified Pressure is exactly what the title promises: pure pressure from start to finish.
The story is action-packed with so many unexpected twists and turns that just when you thought you knew which girl Pressure was going to choose—something would happen and flip the whole situation upside down. Sha Jones kept me on my toes the entire way through.
Kashmere? She was foul the moment Pluto confided in her about her feelings for Pressure. A real friend would’ve fallen back, but Kashmere had other plans. And Toni—whew, she was smart enough to move on once she realized she wasn’t going to be the one. I respected that about her.
Sha Jones’s writing captivated my imagination in the best way. I didn’t have to guess or piece things together because every scene was vivid and well-written. The character development was spot on, and every twist in the plot was laid out with perfection.
This series had me hooked from beginning to end, and now I know why people rave about Sha Jones. I’ll definitely be diving into more of her books because Certified Pressure Series left no crumbs.

Kashmere? She was foul the moment Pluto confided in her about her feelings for Pressure. A real friend would’ve fallen back, but Kashmere had other plans. And Toni—whew, she was smart enough to move on once she realized she wasn’t going to be the one. I respected that about her.
Sha Jones’s writing captivated my imagination in the best way. I didn’t have to guess or piece things together because every scene was vivid and well-written. The character development was spot on, and every twist in the plot was laid out with perfection.
This series had me hooked from beginning to end, and now I know why people rave about Sha Jones. I’ll definitely be diving into more of her books because Certified Pressure Series left no crumbs.

The way this book played out like a whole short film still has me reeling from the drama that unfolded!!!…
I was glad Toni Roe got her some attn and entertainment baby!!!…Kay’Lo was playing no games and he let Ka’Mari know her bags needed to be packed too, because she was definitely leaving that house!!!…
As if Kash didn’t irritate me in book 1, her dirty deed in book 2 is now going to be her unraveling!!!…She got a ring, but Pluto got that lifetime subscription that includes Pressure and his heart!!!…Kash claim to have wanted things to be fair, but she has to fight dirty as if she was not part of the get money crew!!!…Pluto could have spilled that tea, but she didn’t!!!…
Now that she has turned that table and heading home what will Kash do, because I know for sure that Pressure is NOT leaving his baby out there without him!!!…

Pressure's journey for a wife continues. Ka'Mari is in quite the chracyer and stirs up the house in several ways. Pressure allows her to stay and we learn more details about their history and stillborn child. Pluto is still in survival mode, which I understan, and has to prioritize her sister over Pressure. He takes this with great difficulty. He reacts like a spoiled child at times.He does pursue Pluto further despite the other girls, but his lack of leadership and empathy makes it difficult for her to give in to his advances. His name is Pressure, but he applies none in the ways that really matter.
Pluto, and Kashmere have given me high blood pressure. Pressure is so tired of Pluto running from him, but she has a problem that needs resolving and he's not offering any solutions besides money. Kashmere just honestly seems lost, and is very adaptable to Pressure's lifestyle because she'll adapt to anything that benefits her(my honest opinion). I'm starting high blood pressure 3 now🤣🤣

When I tell you I was not ready!!! Ma’am you could have told me this was going to be a series at this point I’m not mentally ready for all the back and forth and to be continue. Pressure needs counseling and he needs to talk to his parents more. Then these damn girls stressed me and themselves out. How we still not find out where Kylo is at and while Tonie is gone? I hope we here of a happy ending for them. Pluto needed to open more and maybe it would have been a little different. Kashmere was dead ass wrong and its dead between Pluto and her and everything they once had. But damn it I was not ready for the ending that just took a turn that’s going to rock the shit out of all of them and I don’t think there is any coming back from it. Please don’t have us waiting for book three long I am stressed with this ending worst than book one’s ending. Kashmere can’t compete now and Pluto will be hell bent on staying for her sister now.
