quick and nasty
No plot. All smut. Quick and nasty. One big orgy.
I will say it was repetitive a little bit. “Grill flashing” 22 times in a 60 page book is crazy.

Erotic absolutely but it was a little repetitive and redundant in some spots but entertaining enough with a unique setting but no one really stood out to me, nor did I feel like we were introduced well enough to anyone to understand some of the dynamics displayed.

When i say that damn grill of his made an appearance on every damn page…lmfaooo dawg! We get it bro! Ya grill is shining! This was sexy though! All gas, no breaks!

I really enjoyed this read overall! The Nasty Hour by Sunshines Urban Novels delivers a super hot and spicy story that doesn’t waste any time getting to the action. Late-night radio host Jayceon Gray meets his regular listener Mocha Dior in his studio, and what starts as a radio segment about fantasies quickly turns into an intense night of raw confessions and desire.
This book was fast-paced and jumped right into the steamy content, which I appreciated. The chemistry between Jayceon and Mocha was electric from the moment she stepped into that studio. The novel is filled with sexy, explicit scenes occurring simultaneously throughout, and the author doesn’t hold back on the spice level. What made it even more intriguing was the radio show element - having lustful callers listening in and calling during the action added an extra layer of voyeuristic excitement to the whole experience.
The concept of one mic, one hour, and no way to fake the truth when desire gets this loud was executed well. Jayceon running The Nasty Hour like a preacher pulling confessions out of strangers, and then becoming part of the confession himself with Mocha, made for compelling reading. The blurred boundaries and bodies willing to risk it all on air created genuine tension and heat.
What keeps this from being a five-star read is that while the spice and pacing were on point, there could have been a little more character depth and development beyond the physical connection. I would have loved to see more of their individual backstories or what led Mocha to be such a devoted listener. The story focuses heavily on the physical and the moment, which works for what it is, but a bit more substance would have elevated it even further.
If you’re looking for a quick, steamy read with plenty of explicit content and a unique radio show setting, this is definitely worth picking up. It delivers on the heat and keeps you engaged throughout!

this one was… exactly what the title promised and not much else 😭 the nasty hour is basically all smut and very little plot. if you’re coming in for story depth, emotional buildup, or anything resembling a slow burn… yeah, that’s not what this is.
the premise is fun though — late night radio host jayceon gray running a sinful little confession booth on air, and mocha dior finally stepping into the studio after secretly listening. it had the setup for something spicy and layered, but it really just leaned heavy into the spice and stayed there.
and listen… somebody please get these characters some condoms, some aftercare, and maybe a toothbrush while we’re at it 😭 priorities were not prioritizing.
also, jayceon’s grill? baby. he made sure we knew about it every chance he got. i promise we heard you sir 😂

AMAZING
This erotica novella was nothing but amazing. It was just as good as i expected it and it ended perfectly. The only thing i wasn’t expecting was it being like a poly or orgy in a sense but i love how it was on a radio show and the shower the listeners what it’s like to get pleased.

creative story, definitely entertaining
This was truly a unique story and I like that… I do think it could be edited a little more. Some of the phrases were repeated so much it was crazy…”my grills flashing the light”… it can get distracting but that’s just my editing suggestion. No shade!

OOOHHH THEY NASTYYYY 🤪 & I’m here for it 🙂↕️ Quick, fast-paced, & straight to the point. The concept was unique to me and I enjoyed it. The only thing that annoyed me was constantly talking about Jayceon’s grills hitting the light. Like dawg we get it, he got grills in, move on 😐 But other than that, I enjoyed it for what it was!
