Row, Row, Row Your Class: Using Music as a Springboard for Writing, Exploration and Learning

Rate this book
You don't have to be musical yourself to use the stimulating activities in Row, Row, Row Your Class. The book builds on your students' natural interest in music, with activities that get them to thinking, writing and using their imaginations. For example, "Public Service Rap" has them creating public service messages, set to rap music. "We Hate You, Barney" encourages them to try their hand at musical parody. "Was Clementine Really so Darling?" involves telling the whole story behind a well-known song. Row, Row, Row Your Class is very adaptable, with activities at different levels of difficulty, grades 6-12. 48 pages, 81/2" 11", reproducible.
