Said something about “context” and “historical preservation” and “don’t you dare put a dick joke in the opening pages of an official Ghost Command archive.”
…Anyway.
Ghost Formation is the story of how we got here.
By “here,” I traumatized, half-dead, occasionally feral, and bonded together tighter than blood. It’s not pretty. It’s not heroic. It’s a lot of us f**king up in creative and frequently pyrotechnic ways.
Sometimes we won. Sometimes the Others won.
Sometimes the environment itself took a swing at us just because it could. (Looking at you, ice storms and sulfur fog of doom).
You’ll meet the us we were, before we became the us you know.
Not just Ghost Command.
But Zane, Ash, Matt, Rina, Elijah, and Zahir.
Void, we were all so f**king young once.
This isn’t a war story, though there’s plenty of war in it. It’s not a survival story, though we should’ve died a dozen times.
It’s a family story, in the way that a pack of wolves or a prison riot qualifies as family. You don’t get to choose, you just get torn up and rebuilt until you’re all teeth and scars and inside jokes no one else can survive long enough to understand.
So, welcome. Strap in. Mask up.
