Kim’s love for Jesus, His truth, and His power to transform lives is displayed clearly as she writes stories akin to Max Lucado. I read through it quickly. Now, I’m going to take my time to read and study one chapter at day. It has 50 short chapters. She had reflective questions in most chapters. It’s a great seeker and disciple book. Use it as your own devotion, a Small group Bible study, or a Book Club.

A wonderful resource!
A wonderful resource divided into 50 bite-sized chapters on a whole host of issues, questions, and problems that we might face. The topics are broken down clearly and concisely in ways that are both easily understood and still deep in theology. Highly recommend!

This book represents the wisdom of a lifetime, written by a woman who clearly knows her Bible and who also has a heart for pointing people toward their Savior. Each chapter is like a stand-alone mini-Bible study, and they cover a wide variety of topics. Kinney hits on every-day experiences like anger, sorrow, difficulties, and illness. She also talks about things we aspire toward like healing, peace, and integrity.
Keep this book handy if you missed church, if you find yourself in need of a little inspiration, or even if you need a proper butt-kicking in your Christian life. Kinney offers insights which always point back to the glory of God and encourages us to live for His glory above all else.

I admire Kim Kinney's determination to take on this topic! As believers, this is our calling--to live for God's glory--and yet it can feel like an overwhelming and confusing topic. Kim approaches it from many different angles--stories in Scripture, modern day examples of faithful believers, exposition of Bible passages, and personal stories. This book is well researched and full of Scripture that continually points us back to God and His Word. Each chapter stands alone so you can use it as a supplement to your daily quiet time or as a word of encouragement before bed.

Uplifting and powerful!
I highly recommend this book! Living for His Glory is beautifully written. It has a nice combination of interesting stories, biblical teaching and life application. Even though I’ve been a Christian for more than 20 years I learned a lot from this book. I recommend checking it out—whether you have been a Christian for a long time, are a newer Christian or are just curious about what Christianity is all about.

Very encouraging
I found this book to be very encouraging. It provides sound Biblical insight and answers to many of life's challenges. The book covers many topics from the storms of life to living Victoriously to dealing with depression to Salvation through Jesus Christ. The book provides many Bible verses and commentary. I found this book to be a well written, enjoyable read. I highly recommend this book.

Wow! Read this book! It’s aptly named because it’s written to make His Name known. Kim’s knowledge and understanding of Scripture is immense but yet she writes in an easy to read style. Her thought provoking questions are piercing and real. If you hunger to know God and to love Jesus more, here’s a book for you.

What a beautiful book woven with strands of hope for anyone who as the slightest inclination to believe. Kim convinces the reader that God has written one love story from Genesis to Revelation to support us in the storms of life, bring Him glory, and bring us all Home. Living with chronic illness, I am so grateful to find this hope-filled resource.

A Very Moving book!
This book is a guide along with the Bible on how to live a Christian life. It talks about many subjects about how to live a Life Worth Living. And about many pitfalls and traps Christians need to watch out for that the Devil lays for us. A well written and uplifting book for all people. Well done!!

I enjoyed this book so much I suggested my husband read it too. The chapters are easy to read, and I found it was encouraging to read one chapter each day. The author has an engaging writing style that draws you in. She makes the Bible feel more accessible and easier to understand through her stories.

Longer read than I typically like, but the chapters were mostly short and interesting to keep momentum! The book includes some truly awesome stories…leaving you in awe and wonder of His power and love. Namely the Tebow chapter…I won’t spoil it, but you can’t ignore the significance!!

This is a must read for all who are serious with their relationship with the Lord. I had time to reflect upon my earthly journey, and also meditate upon the word of God. This is a very well written book.

Written in an accessible style with powerful illustrations, Kim Kinney’s first book is a collection of encouraging and challenging insights, relatable for readers at any point in their Christian journey, including those who aren’t Christians but want to know what living a Christian life is all about. The short chapters make this an excellent option for devotional reading, and with most chapters being stand-alone, readers have the freedom to skip around if they wish. I really enjoyed this read and would definitely recommend it to others!
