Great book about the best Irish Writer to exist. I particularly liked learning about Behan's bisexuality and his time in Spain. The big issue with this book is that it does dilute Behan's politics too much. That being said the book is full of funny moments and great quotes.

How amazing that such structures novel as Borstal Boy comes from such a flawed character and chaotic existence.
Knowing his life broadens the experience of reading them.
