Teen heiress Ji-hee has fallen from the elite Korean society she grew up in—and good riddance. Shipped overseas by her controlling mother, she’s been part of the boarding-school-banishment club for years now. But when she gets a call from her grandfather telling her she can ditch her school in London for a fresh start in California, she jumps at the chance. Determined to avoid drama, Ji-hee plans to ace her classes, dodge her family’s mess, and definitely not fall for anyone—especially not Harrison Barrett.
Harrison’s barely holding it together between school, work, and an ex who’s still clinging on. He doesn’t need a distraction. Only Ji-hee isn’t just a distraction—she’s a mystery. And trouble is following her.
When Han-bae, a slick new transfer student, shows up and starts hanging around Ji-hee, Harrison’s protective instincts kick in. There’s something wrong with this guy. The money. The threats. The way he acts like Ji-hee already belongs to him. As secrets from Ji-hee’s past begin to unravel, she’s forced to face the truth about her family . . . and what she’s willing to risk for a future that finally feels like hers.
Falling for Korea is Pipers Jean’s debut novel. When she’s not busy writing, you can find Piper watching K-dramas, taking care of her ever-growing hobby farm, and making Korean food. Unfortunately though, the writing was kinda clunky, the story wasn't interesting, and I'm pretty sure I remember there being typos
