Shipwrecked. Betrayed. Hunted. Andur never asked to be a hero.
Press-ganged by the brothers of the woman he loves, Andur awakens aboard a ship bound for lands unknown. Now, stranded on a continent of scheming monarchs, ambitious wizards, and gods who meddle far too much, he finds himself hailed as the very savior he never wished to be.
He isn't sure what's the impossible expectations, the enemies hunting him... or the conflicted emotions stirring within his heart upon meeting Kari, the beautiful Questor seer sworn to accompany him on his perilous journey.
But one truth is the fate of this strange new world now rests solely upon his shoulders - a burden he neither sought nor desires.
Dark secrets, biting wit, and dangerous magic collide in this epic opening to the Trivin's March adventure saga.
I just finished my first "fantasy" novel since reading the J.R.R. Tolkien books. But, things may change after reading CASTAWAY'S QUEST: AN ANDUR OF TRIVIN'S MARCH ADVENTURE by John Sunseri.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters were well drawn, the actions sequences spectacular and the story moves along at a pace that will leave you breathless.
Just when I thought I knew what was coming I was surprised and left delighted. I don't think the book could have wrapped up any better.
