Painful read... but very thorough. I must say I got my foot in the VBA door with this book.

It is a highly useful book for learning how to automate, analyse, and build powerful models in Excel using Visual Basic for Applications. It helps readers understand programming logic through practical business and financial modelling examples. The book is especially valuable for students, analysts, and professionals who want to enhance efficiency and create complex solutions. It’s a strong foundation for anyone looking to master modelling with VBA.

Perfect for learning VBA even if you have never programmed before.
I've been teaching an intro VBA course with the Albright's book since third edition I think. While I describe it as being written by a business guy who likes to code and not a programmer who likes business, it stands above similar books because it has exercises in every chapter.
