Numberland: Workbook 4

The "Numberland" is designed to generate interest and confidence in mathematics. It features a pre-number book for rising fives and a transition book dealing with aspects of attainment targets at level 3 (Book 9). Also included is a new teacher's manual including a diagnostic assessment programme to be used alongside the workbooks, and ideas for use in the classroom. The books contain investigations, early calculator experiences, greater coverage of 3D shapes, data handling and estimation, and a partnership programme incorporating activities to be carried out at home with the family.
