Kai “Chosen” Sutton is all deep strokes, erotic moans, and passionate love. When he touches Mya Jones, it’s with intent—to own, to ravish, to wreck her for any other man. He’s ready to make her his wife. He believes he’s the only man who makes her body hum.
Ryan “Fyve” Patterson is the inferno to Mya’s control—reckless, aggressive, and grimy in the best ways. He doesn’t make love. He f*cks her like the world is ending—pounding strokes, throat chokes, on her knees. And he thinks she is all his.
Mya Jones is caught in a maelstrom of desire and adoration. Two men who offer her different kinds of love and complete worship—mind, body, and soul. How can she choose between two men who touch her like they own her and love her like they can’t breathe without her?
When old and new secrets are revealed, choices must be made. And Chosen and Fyve will either have to walk away or break every rule for a chance to share the only woman they want.
I loved Fyve and Chosen, Mya not so much. That is the only reason for the low rating. The spice/smut was there! Mya’s reasonings were childish, like how long out of high school are y’all to want that kind of revenge? I’m glad the men were able to get it together. Mya is still not my first choice.
This was a pretty good poly romance. I liked the characters together but I wish there was more of them on page showcasing how they navigated the relationship outside the bedroom. These two men were madly in love with her and her with them and even though they weren’t initially comfortable with sharing, they loved her enough to grant her that wish.
I was surprised about the reason behind Mya getting with them both initially especially with the book started out and would have thought her wanting to entertain both men would have been based off being hurt by her exhusband and not because of something from high school, but it all worked out for her and her men in the end. 3.75/5 stars
3.5⭐️ Mya knew she was wrong for that terrible “revenge plot” she came up with, but I loved how the MMCs loved her through her bullshit 😂. Chosen is definitely my favorite.
I don’t think I’ve read a more mature polyamorous story. How Egypt handled their transition to a throuple, all parties expressing their desires, fears, expectations, etc., was eye opening. I loved the openness and trust between them. The reassurance. The idea of a threesome is so taboo, but when you see a relationship that shares genuine love, respect, and a desire to provide pleasure for all parties, and not just for the thrill of the act of sex itself, it’s something else entirely. The storyline itself was impressive, because it wasn’t the typical couple finding a third person or someone who had already been in a polygamous relationship and looking for another. Great writing all around! It was so sensual and sexy!
Mya was a broken woman who had to sort of reinvent herself. Her husband broke her down to a point that she was in need of serious healing. In walks Fyve...then walks Chosen. Unaware of their connection, she does a whole lot more than connect with these two. While I don't agree with her initial plan, I appreciate how everything turns out. Sometimes one man can't be everything you need when you've been hurt, but Fyve and Chosen together proved to be more than she'll ever need. I did want to see how Mya and Fyve's relationship progressed as he was more aggressive- I guess in his pursuits. Happy Reading Y'all.💋
I have no idea where these why choose books have been coming from, but I am loving them. This story right here was so amazing! When I tell you she wrote the heck out of this book. Why have one when you can have two?! What started as some get back but quickly took a turn into something more. I truly believe not one person can give you everything you need and Mya found out first hand. Both Chosen and Fyve both gave her something different but completed her. It was definitely some twist and turns I didn’t see coming but I was here for it!
This wasn’t a long read and got straight to the point. Kudos to Mya she knew what she wanted and stood 10 toes down on that. The pace of the book was on point and you were able to understand each character and their personality. Egypt did a good job at developing the polyamorous relationship without making it weird. Egypt also kept it sexy and spicy.
That was a lot. I am glad I read it, to say the least. But I always feel like there’s an important element missing from MFM romances. Since the guys don’t “touch” there’s always a lot of one on one activities not so much as a “group” because a lot less can be done ain’t the men don’t touch. But this was lovely and I’m glad she got to keep both her mans. Good on you Sis
Omg. I was coming for Egypt in 26 but, so glad I at least got this 1 in before hand. Mya was broken but, Chosen and Fyve did what had to be done putting Mya back together again. Lol. Wined, Dined, and filled in every Orpheus of her body, Lordy this was a great and fulfilling quickie with serious BDE. Loved it.
Interesting read. It took me several weeks to finish reading this one. Not sure why it wasn’t an easier read for me but oh well. The concept was intriguing and the book cover was fire! It seemed like a very unconventional relationship for Chosen and Frye to agree to so easily.
@Egypt Cynae’s novella shows what happens when you both fall in love with the same woman. She started the relationships for the wrong reason but ended up falling in love with them both. They both gave her different things but she loved them equally. She didn’t want to choose or make them have too. This book has the right amount of spice. 🔥🔥🔥.
Smut was great. Chosen and Fyve were great. Everything else was just annoying, especially Mya. Mya wanted her cake and eat it too. And those men just went along with it because they loved her. I also thought it would have taken the guys some more time to forgive her after what she did, or to even be in a poly relationship.
I love a good poly romance, and this was good. I didn't know the twist of them being in school together took me for a loop, but I was glad everything worked out. And the spicy scenes were super spicy!
Ohhh to have her life. Minus the divorce and the past trauma. I’m just saying. The level of maturity and security they had to have. This book was sensational!
