I am roughly 1/3 of the way through. I love the conversational style, and while I actually appreciate books that add jokes (however corny), like the Head First series, sometimes Dave adds just a few too many.
That's not why I took off 1 star though. The reason I did was because the name of this book is a bit misleading. "The complete guide" has a whole chapter on subagents, but doesn't even tell you how to create one! The whole chapter talks about the benefits, and best practices, but even through example, I couldn't figure out how to write one or how to execute one (some samples show .md style instructions, and others show python code).
There's also some formatting issues, which is likely due to the self-published nature of the book. For instance, many bullet point lists are missing newline breaks. Not a huge deal, but should be cleaned up in future prints.
For the price, it's been worth it so far, but it's definitely rough around the edges.
