I’ve got my hands full with my kindergarten class in suburban Atlanta. But when my school turns into a film location for a movie, I’m thrilled to get a break so I can watch Hollywood heartthrob Ridge Wilson in action.
The next thing I know, I’ve accidentally spilled coffee all over his expensive shirt.
Instead of being mad and acting like an entitled celebrity, Ridge asks me to hang out with him in his private trailer. It’s only fitting I reciprocate and offer him a home-cooked meal at my house, right? I hardly notice his famous chiseled features and rock-hard biceps when it’s just the two of us. We definitely have chemistry, and when his film wraps, I’m stunned when he invites me to visit him in California during my fall break.
While I’m there, my entire world is upended when he confesses a secret that could turn Hollywood into a paparazzi-feeding frenzy. Ridge doesn’t expect me to get mixed up in all his drama. And I don’t want to keep teetering on whatever fine line this is we’ve created between us.
But America’s most famous eligible bachelor needs me – and I need him…
Path to Stardom is a captivating, feel-good romance about going outside your comfort zone, realizing what’s important, and holding on to the people who show up when you need them the most.
“The Singing Author,” Kelly Genelle Fletcher, lives in her very own frat house in Atlanta, GA with her husband Ladd and three sons. She writes her heartwarming/closed-door romance books under her name, Kelly Fletcher, and her steamier books under her pen name, KG Fletcher.
As a singer/songwriter she became a recipient of the “Airplay International Award” for “Best New Artist” showcasing original songs at The Bluebird Café in Nashville, TN. She earned her BFA in theater at Valdosta State University, and has traveled the world professionally as a singer/actress. She is a two-time Georgia Maggie Award Nominee, and currently gets to play rock star as a backup singer in the National Tour, “Remember When Rock Was Young – the Elton John Experience.”
Kelly is a hopeless romantic. When she’s not on the road singing, she’s probably at home daydreaming about her swoony book boyfriends, or arranging a yummy charcuterie board while sipping red wine and listening to Frank Sinatra. She's also a conference speaker and loves to interact with readers on social media and share about her writing and singing journey. For more info about tour dates (and FREE concert tickets), go to kgfletcherauthor.com
Kelly continues to raise the bar for herself, and it's clear she has the secret formula for making any story captivating. She has done it once again. While it’s tempting to pick a favourite, I find it nearly impossible—I’ve read all her books, and each one holds a special place in my heart.
Path to Stardom is an emotionally heartfelt story by the talented author K.G. Fletcher, and it’s the second instalment in the enchanting Southern Secrets Series. This romantic tale is filled with movie stars, scandals, misunderstandings, instant chemistry, contrasting worlds, trust, angst, and drama. At its core, it beautifully emphasises three fundamental themes: loyalty, unbreakable bonds, and the transformative power of love.
The characters are wonderfully crafted, each with their own quirks and charms, but it is their dynamic and depth, alongside their bonds and family warmth, that truly captures your heart.
"Path to Stardom" is the second book in the Southern Sunsets series. While it can be read as a standalone, readers will have a deeper connection to the main characters, Beverley and her sister Maddison, if they have read the first book, "Road to Paradise."
This sweet romance follows Beverley, a kindergarten teacher in Georgia, and Ridge, a Hollywood star. Their story begins dramatically when Beverley accidentally spills coffee on Ridge's white shirt. As their relationship develops, readers experience the ups and downs of this unlikely romance.
Beverley discovers that beneath the Hollywood glamour, Ridge is a kind and gentle, down-to-earth man, although he struggles with a personal secret. In Beverley, Ridge finds a kindred spirit who makes him believe in love and the possibility of a happily ever after.
Their romance is charming, with just the right touch of drama, and it feels both honest and realistic.
I am officially admitting defeat with this author. I’ve read nearly everything she’s written, and I’m done trying to figure out which book is my favorite. It’s impossible. Kelly Fletcher wins. Every. Single. Time.
I fell hard for Maddy and George in book one and couldn't imagine anything better… then Beverly and Ridge showed up in book two like, “Hold my beer,” and completely stole my heart all over again. Here I am, once more, absolutely smitten.
White flag raised. You win, Kelly Fletcher.
I read this book in one sitting and finished it in the early hours of the morning, fully aware I had to log in for work today. I have zero regrets. SO worth the sleep deprivation.
And for the record, I don’t usually love the “movie star” storyline… but Ridge had me melting not long after he stepped onto the page. Beverly already had me wrapped around her finger from Maddy’s book, that sister bond? Perfection.
This story has everything I crave in a read: seamless writing, perfect flow, that cozy small-town charm, a swoon-worthy MMC, and a heroine I’d happily claim as a friend in real life. Beverly’s values, Ridge’s understanding, and the way they show up for each other? Once again...Perfection.
One of my absolute favorite parts about this book is that it didn’t fall down that rabbit hole other celebrity/long-distance romances stumble into. It stayed real. Honest. Refreshingly grounded. Misunderstandings were handled the way adults actually handle them, and even when scandal tried to sneak its way in, it was resolved flawlessly. I can’t say more, spoilers would be a crime, so just trust me: you need this book in your life.
If you haven’t read book one yet, I highly recommend starting there. You could probably dive straight into this one… but why cheat yourself out of the full emotional story of these incredible characters?
And after that? Run! Don’t walk! and grab everything Kelly Fletcher has ever written. She became one of my all-time favorites early on, and she has this gift for writing stories that stick with me long after I finish… the kind I happily reread whenever I need to remember why I love reading.
Huge thanks to Kelly Fletcher for doing what she does best: giving me stories that remind me exactly why books feel like home.
Path to Stardom (Southern Sunsets #2) by Kelly Fletcher
This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author and it sure won’t be my last. This was the best way to start my year off. This is the second book in the Southern Sunsets Series and it can be read as a standalone. I can say that I haven’t found a book I don’t like by the author and they don’t disappoint.
Ridge is a huge Hollywood star and is in town for a movie shoot. He runs into someone while in the library and she spills her coffee on him. So, instead of getting upset he invites her to watch him do a scene from the movie he is working on. One thing changes into another and he invites her to California to spend her fall break with him. Then when things don’t go as planned he is stuck. He tells his assistant this when he realizes that he’s falling for her: “Isn’t it ironic? I’ve been this notorious bachelor my entire adult life, telling the world I’m never getting married. Never having kids. That I love my work and hanging out with great friends. Looking back, I thought my life was incredibly full, and that I was doing well.”
Beverly is a Kindergarten teacher when she is enjoying a quiet morning and runs into a huge star she never thought she would meet. They get along and they have a great time until she goes to California to meet him. He breaks some news to her that no one knows about other than his lawyer. She goes home claiming that she wasn’t sure she could do this anymore. Then she gives him a second chance and things turn out wonderful. Beverly tells his baby mama this in the bathroom at a party: “Whitney, you will always be a part of this family, even if you walk away. Even if you give up custody. You’re tethered by blood.”
Path to Stardom was recommended to me, and I went in thinking I’d read a few chapters before bed. Instead, I stayed up longer than planned, emotionally invested, quietly smiling at my phone like the story and I were sharing an inside joke.
This book doesn’t shout to be heard — it leans in. The romance builds gently, but it sneaks up on you in the best way. One minute you’re enjoying the banter, the next you realize you actually care. Deeply. About their fears, their hopes, and whether they’re brave enough to choose love when the spotlight starts to glare.
The characters felt refreshingly human — a little unsure, a little hopeful, occasionally stubborn, and very easy to root for. I laughed at moments that felt achingly familiar, and I paused more than once because a line hit a little too close to home. The wit is soft but sharp, the kind that feels natural instead of scripted, and it made the emotional moments land even harder.
What surprised me most was how comforting this story felt. It’s not just about romance — it’s about becoming, about stepping into something scary, and about having someone beside you when everything starts to change. The setting wraps around you like a warm Southern evening, and before you know it, you’re completely settled in.
By the end, my heart felt full — not swept away in a dramatic whirlwind, but gently held. Path to Stardom is the kind of feel-good romance that reminds you why you read romance in the first place: connection, growth, laughter, and that quiet hope that love can meet you exactly where you are.
Beverly Adler is a 30 something Kindergarten teacher in the Atlanta, Georgia area. She is perfectly happy in her life, close to her sister, brother-in-law and their new baby, Joey. In a meet cute, Beverly stumbles into something unusual in the elementary school library – a gorgeous hunk named Ridge Wilson – sitting in a corner, pouring over the script of a movie, soon to be filmed on location in the school. Did I mention that Ridge is 40 something, single, and a former Sexiest Man Alive? They strike up a deep friendship, both knowing this won’t last once the movie wraps. But it does. But Ridge is harboring a secret – one that he is afraid, will turn the gorgeous teacher against him and any possibility of a further relationship.
Fletcher’s characters are sharply drawn, their anxieties palpable. And who in their heart of hearts does not want to believe in a fairy tale? This is a slow burn romance that is a fast read, simply because the characters are so loveable. It’s a warm, cozy romance with zero foul language, and no sex scenes, however you may find yourself longing for “something more” on the part of this couple.
As a bonus, the author includes the recipe for Beverly’s tasty Banana Bread for you to enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee as you read this idyllic little romance novel. 5 Stars!
I absolutely love Kelly Fletcher's books. And this one is no exception. From the first meet between Beverly and Ridge in the elementary school library, even the Fates knew these two belonged together. Okay, so it was just a little hokey when she spilled her coffee on his shirt and the stain ended up in the shape of a heart But it was also kismet. Beverly and Ridge have issues - especially Ridge. Not just because of his job, but secrets in his past. But they face their troubles with courage and aplomb, including small-town Beverly being thrown into the spotlights that come with dating a handsome star. But, as in all of the author's romances, there's a happily ever after ending that satisfies.
If you're looking for a sweet romance that makes you smile and go "awww", pick this one up, and the other books by this author. You won't be sorry.

This book felt like the kind of romance a friend excitedly tells you about over coffee. It’s me. I’m that friend. The author seriously knows how to craft a story that sticks with you long after you turn the last page. Fair warning that you will stay up past your bedtime and possibly forget all responsibilities because this book completely swallowed me whole. We start with Beverly, an overworked kindergarten teacher who is immediately relatable, especially when she accidentally spills coffee all over Ridge, a famous movie star. Instead of being a total jerk, he’s incredibly sweet, which hooked me right away. Clumsy FMC? Absolutely yes, so relatable. The chemistry between them builds naturally, with moments that feel sweet instead of over-the-top. One of my favorite things was how realistic everything felt with no unnecessary drama to ruin the vibe, just events that flowed naturally. Watching their relationship move from suburban Atlanta to glamorous California was such a fun contrast. The secret Ridge reveals adds just enough tension to keep things interesting without taking away from the feel-good vibe. It just felt cozy, fun, and kind of addictive in the best way. If you’re in the mood for a feel-good romance, this one is so easy to fall into.
This is a clasic celebrity meets commoner romance that leans heavily into the cozy, sweet with a side of heat vibes Fletcher is known for. It's the second installment in her Southern Sunsets series. The story follows Beverly, a down-to-earth kindergarten teacher in suburban Atlanta. Her predictable life gets a Hollywood makeover when her school is chosen as a filming location for a major movie starring the famous heartthrob Ridge Wilson. Beverly accidentally spills coffee on Ridge's expensive shirt. Instead of a diva-like meltdown, Ridge is captivated by her genuine nature. What starts as a quiet home-cooked meal in Atlanta evolves into a high-stakes trip to California, where Beverly is thrust into the paparazzi-filled chaos of Ridge’s life—and a secret that threatens to derail his career. Ridge is portrayed as more than just a face; he’s a man looking for authenticity in a world of artifice. The transition from the cozy, familiar setting of an elementary school to the glitz of California provides a fun, out-of-place dynamic for Beverly. While there are emotional hurdles and Hollywood drama, the narrative remains hopeful and heartwarming. If you enjoyed the first book in the series, you’ll likely love this captivating read.
Having read the first book and having it own my heart I thought I’d have no problem with this one but I do now I’ve got to choose which was my favourite and that sort of like asking me which kid is my favourite 🥰😂🙈🤷♀️I just can’t do it so they they share the podium if it can happen in the Olympics it can happen on my bookshelf 🤪
I’m a librarian and a book lover like as on next level bibliophile so you imagine me shrieking like a banshee when Beverly and Ridge meet up in the library for the first time 📚🫶🏼 like that was a serious swoon moment for me 🥰
Ridge is a Hollywood heart throb and Beverly is kindergarten teacher she’s just living her life and teaching her kids but when her school becomes the latest movie set things become really interesting from trailer visits to home cooked meals and spilled coffee 😂
Ridge has skeletons and when he comes clean he expects Beverly to run but she faces it with him head on because she sees him for the man not the star and that right there is true love my friend !
Who doesn’t love a happy ending ?! That contented sigh when you finish the last page tells you what a gift Kelly has with her readers 🫶🏼
Path to Stardom is a glitter-splashed sprint toward the spotlight, complete with shaky knees, big dreams, and moments that make you want to cheer from the front row. The story follows the ups, downs, and “wait… is this really happening?!” moments of chasing fame, talent, and confidence all at once. It’s fast, upbeat, and full of heart, showing that success isn’t just about bright lights. It’s about practice, courage, and getting back up after every stumble. Each chapter feels like another step closer to center stage, with just enough drama and excitement to keep the pages flying. If you love stories about dreaming loud, working hard, and finally hearing the applause, Path to Stardom is a fun, feel-good read that leaves you smiling and ready to chase something shiny of your own. 🌟🎤✨📖 Now for the Emoji Review! 🌟 for stardom, dreams, and shining moments 🎤 for performance, voice, and being seen 🎭 for talent, creativity, and life on stage 🚀 for chasing goals and taking off toward success 💫 for growth, confidence, and magical breakthroughs 👏 for hard work paying off and well-earned applause
I have read a few books from this author and she continues to make her books so addicting. This is the second book to the amazing series Southern Sunsets. You could read this as a stand alone but I would read the first book to get more of the back story. I could not help but to fall in love with these characters right from the beginning. I could not put this book down until the end. I can’t wait to see what this amazing author will write about next.
Beverly loves her job being a kindergarten teacher. She is excited when she finds out her school is going to be a filming location. Beverly can’t believe that a very handsome actor is going to be at her school. She is so upset with herself when she accidentally spills coffee all down his shirt. Beverly thought Ridge would be mad at her but he was a gentleman about it. She is shocked that Ridge is not what she thought he would be. Beverly and Ridge start to get some strong feelings for one another but can a regular teacher be out in the spotlight? Will Beverly and Ridge get their happy ever after or will some Hollywood secrets tear them apart for good?
This is the second book in the Southern Secrets series. This is a beautiful heart-warming romance which has so many elements that just make it so special and such an enjoyable read. This is a story of two people who are opposites in their lives meeting each other have finding a connection nether can deny.
Beverley is a dedicated kindergarden teacher in a small town. She is very family orientated and just a ray of sunshine to all who know her. But then her world chances when famous actor Ridge comes into her world. The connection between them is instant. But Ridge is a famous actor. What could he possible see in a kindergarden teacher?
Ridge fell for Beverly fast. Her presence in his world made everything seem brighter and he can't get enough of being around her. However Ridge is hiding secrets. Secrets which could push Beverly away from him for good.
The connection and chemistry between this couple is strong but is it strong enough to deal with secrets, and all the additional pressure of fame and success? This is a really beautiful story which I enjoyed. I was captivated by this couples journey all the way through
Beverly and Ridge share a charming first meeting. It is like the universe already knew that these two needed to be together. I mean, if the coffee spill on Ridge's shirt that ended up in the shape of a heart was not a sign, I don't know what is.
"I want you, Beverly. Only you."
The way that Beverly and Ridge navigated his bombshell news was very mature of them both. While the idea of being a celebrity is cool, I actually would not want to be one. You never know who is there for you as a true friend and really loves you vs. those who just want to ride your coattails for the fame. The sweet moments that Ridge and Beverly shared are great.
"I'm living in my own romance novel now. And Ridge Wilson will always be my leading man"
I love Kelly's writing. She always makes her characters come alive. In fact, they are not characters but family. The emotions that I felt reading Beverly and Ridge's story were all real. I was so invested in their lives. This book is a feel good, heartfelt, amazing read!
This is an enjoyable and engaging romance which kept me captivated throughout. Beverly is a kindergarten teacher in suburban Atlanta, who is excited when her school is the location for a movie. Accidentally spilling coffee down Hollywood heartthrob Ridge Wilson and ruining his expensive shirt wasn’t in the plan. However, rather than act like an entitled celebrity Ridge is nothing but pleasant. Having excepted his offer to hang out with him in his private trailer, Beverly invites him for a home cooked meal at her house. They both feel the chemistry and attraction between them, and Ridge invites Beverly to visit him in California. However, dating America’s most famous eligible bachelor isn’t easy, especially when he confesses a secret that will create a paparazzi frenzy. The storyline had just enough drama along with the romance to keep me hooked. Both Beverly and Ridge are such likeable and relatable characters, and their chemistry really came across in the narrative. This heartwarming and feel-good romance kept me happily turning the pages!
I thoroughly enjoy a great love story. Path to Stardom did not disappoint at all, with its genuine love at first sight romance. Could you imagine meeting a real life SUPER POPULAR (I mean he was sexiest man of the year at some point) actor and falling in love? Of course you could! Now imagine he's in your home town (that isn't California), and now you're really in shock. This is how the Lovely Beverly met the gorgeous Ridge, at her school, in the elementary school library, during a movie shoot! This is a really crazy occurrence, considering where she was, and how overwhelmed she was in her own life. It seems that sometimes our most wonderful life's adventures occur this way, ever so unexpectedly. I fell in love with the reality of their difficult romance, I mean how could you not feel for the dilemma that Beverly was placed in? With the help of her loving sister, and Ridge's assistant Arthur, this love presses on. This was such a happy and uplifting read, I'm sure you'll enjoy it as well!
Path to Stardom is Book 2 in the Southern Sunsets series and it was a great story. After reading the first book in the series, I was highly anticipating Ridge and Beverly's story....and it did not disappoint. From small town simplicity for Beverly and the stardom of Hollywood for Ridge, the chance meeting became something more. I love the heartwarming moments, a little bit of drama and just two people who were meant to be together. Beverly, the kindergarten teacher and Ridge the famous actor, as getting to know each other, they share many of the same feelings and different things that have happened in their lives...but Ridge feels at home with Beverly. When the past comes back to Ridge, trying to navigate a different world while trying to balance the feelings with Beverly comes a challenge....that you cannot help root for them to be together in the long run.
This is a great story, and I love all books from this author. I cannot wait to read more in this series.
Path to Stardom is the second book in the Southern Secrets Series by Kelly (K.G) Fletcher, where she delivers a heartwarming, feel-good romance that blends small-town charm with the glitter of Hollywood in the most delightful way. The story follows a dedicated kindergarten teacher whose quiet, structured life is turned upside down when her school becomes the filming location for a major movie. Enter Ridge Wilson - the charismatic Hollywood heartthrob whose on-screen charm is matched by his off-screen warmth. What begins as a curious brush with fame slowly unfolds into a tender, hopeful love story that feels both magical and grounded. This isn’t just a romance - it’s a story about believing in yourself, embracing change, and finding love and happiness in the most surprising places. Perfect for readers who love uplifting romances that come with a dash of movie-set glamour. Bring on Book #3 – ‘Highway to Happy’ (releasing in May 2026). Happy Reading!
This was such a sweet and fun romantic book to read. I have read many books by this author and I have enjoyed every one of them. This is the second book in this series and can be read as a standalone but it is my suggestion to go back and read book one if you haven't because it is also a great read. Beverly and Ridge live two very different lives, she is a kindergarten teacher in Atlanta and he is a famous movie actor. Ridge is filming a movie on location which happens to be at where Beverly teaches. The chemistry between these two is strong right from the start. The connection between them grows the more time they spend together. There are more obstacles than just distance for these two to overcome. I loved how the author had them handle these obstacles. I read this book in one sitting because I was enjoying it so much. I can't wait to read what the author has in store for us in the next book. I highly recommend this book.
This story is by an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up. This is the second book in this series in which I enjoyed just as much as the first. I highly suggest reading the first book as well to help with your enjoyment of this author’s writing skills. This is a story that is about what and who is important to you. An engaging story that will make you feel warm inside and realizing that stepping out of yourself isn’t always a bad thing. This is a story where the characters make you care about what happens to them and have a great growth throughout. They are relatable and kept me turning pages to the end. What will happen when a movie star comes to town and brings all the drama with. You don’t want to miss this story for sure. I enjoyed reading this fast paced, hard to put down story. I look forward to seeing what is next for this author. I highly recommend this book.
Path to Stardom by Kelly Fletcher is the second book in the Southern Sunsets Series, but absolutely can be read as a standalone. I didn't feel like I missed anything relevant to the story, other than being able to experience the love story of Beverly's sister. Beverly and Ridge are the main characters of this romance, and their chemistry and connection is so touching. This clean romance had everything I could have wanted; innocent kindergarten teacher meets Hollywood heartthrob, past drama trying to distance the new lovers, and plenty of quiet, gentle moments that make the tough times worth it. Fletcher uses her superb writing to bring the southern charm of small-town Georgia to life as well as the glitter, lights, and camera flashes of Hollywood. My heart was invested in the romance between Ridge and Beverly, for its hopefulness, its quiet innocence, its delight and wonder in the unknown. I can't wait to read more from Kelly Fletcher!
Path to Stardom: A captivating, feel-good romance (Southern Sunsets Book) by Kelly Fletcher. This is the perfect Hallmark book that would make a great movie. I loved this story. Its the story of Beverly who is a kindergarten teacher in a small town who is in her 30's. While a Hollywood movie is being filmed in her town she gets a small break at school and stops in the library only to find herself face to face with the star of the movie Ridge Wilson. They seem to really hit if off and they also have major chemistry but Beverly keeps thinking what in the world would a Hollywood star see in her? When the movie wraps up she is shocked when he asks her to come to Hollywood to visit him on her fall break. She does and they have a wonderful time but Ridge has been hiding something from everyone and he needs Beverly's help. Ridge is terrified that when she finds out his secret that he will lose her and his career. Will the secret make of break the couple? Read this fun romance to find out!
Whenever I pick up a book by this author I am always hooked on the story immediately. Everything she seems to write is so well done, with fantastic characters and a brilliant story. And this book is exactly that. I connected instantly with the characters. I loved how genuinely “ordinary” Beverly is. It thought it made her so much easier to engage with as a reader. The chemistry between her and Ridge is undeniable and I loved watching how that developed as the story went on. The author has done a fantastic job of weaving so much into the story. The twist she throws in there really does keep you interested and make it so much more exciting to read. I couldn’t put this book down once I had started reading and I cannot wait to see what more this series has to offer. Not just this book, I would highly recommend anything this author has written.
I enjoyed the story and the characters. I did not love it like I did Madisons book. It seems that Ridge just solved everything with his enormous wealth. I really went through times of liking him to not caring for his cavalier attitude (in regards to problem solving). It could be just me and maybe thats how the uber rich think but I was not a fan. I liked Beverly and her amazing relationship with her sister! She is a down to earth girl who seems to anchor Ridge. They did have a fun meet cute and I liked the beginning of their relationship.
Overall I was excited to read this since I loved Madison and George! This one just did not hold the same sparkle for me. But it is a good story and I enjoyed Arthur and smiled at Beverlys Moms antics over Ridge. The author does a wonderful job stringing words together to make the story flow and keep the interest going.
Beverly is a Kindergarten teacher - unmarried, no kids of her own. Lives in Atlanta.
Ridge Wilson is a famous actor. New father to an unplanned baby with an ex, whom is also in the film industry, whom is an addict and brings complications of her own into the mix.
They meet in the school library where Beverly works and where Ridge is filming his next movie. The story starts with a good chuckle at their back and forth, woth several other parts through out the book that are amusing. Its clear there is instant chemistry. Its also clear that Ridge lives a life very different than Beverly, and has many obstacles that can prevent a successful relationship, however they do find their happily ever after through some ups and down! Path to Stardom by Kelly Fletcher was a 4 star read for me and I do recommend it!
5 Stars Path to Stardom: A captivating, feel-good romance (Southern Sunsets Book 2) By KG Fletcher
Path to Stardom is the second book in the Southern Sunsets Series. This is a Contemporary Romance that I absolutely loved reading. Anytime I pickup a book by this author it’s always exactly what I needed to read in that moment and this is no different. This author does an amazing job of drawing you in and the attention to detail along with fully developed, connectable characters make for a wonderful story. This one is about who and what is important and who deserves that title of being important. I literally devoured this book in one afternoon sitting its totally worth the read. I highly recommend reading to find out what happens. I’m always looking forward to reading more from this Author.
Path to Stardom by Kelly Fletcher 5 Star Review If Kelly Fletcher put day to day small town charm of Beverly’s world as a kindergarten teacher, and the glamourous lifestyle of Ridge’s life, threw them in a sack and shook them up, you would have this book. Beverly’s school becomes Ridge’s next movie set and she gets the opportunity to get to know more than just the world of movie production. This is a wonderful small town feel romance with a bonus. Beverly reminds me of myself, never missing a chance to embarrass myself. Fletcher has used amazing gifts in equally describing both characters. Sometimes one character or another gets more detail and the other seems like an afterthought. This is NOT the case with Kelly Fletcher’s writing. This romance was an easy read and kept me engaged throughout the whole story. This is a definite must read!
A famous Hollywood actor meets the everyday kindergarten teacher, a kismet first meeting, a hurdle that may ruin their relationship forever but no, they come together with their own personal strengths and fulfill what the other needs. This story filled my heart.
It's hard not to fall in love with Ridge. He has had a successful career and is terrified to take a step into his new world. Beverly is the calm, grounding force that he so desperately needed. Ridge helps Beverly reach for her dreams and is so patient with her. Once they figure out their love is strong enough to conquer anything, (with a little help from our favorite George and Maddy!❤️) happily ever after was only too easy.
Kelly Fletcher created another wonderful book and is definitely worth reading. 🌻
This charming, feel-good story sweeps you into the whirlwind life of a kindergarten teacher whose world collides with Hollywood heartthrob Ridge Wilson in the most unexpected way. From a spilled coffee to candlelit dinners, Fletcher crafts a romance that sparkles with chemistry, warmth, and authenticity. The blend of everyday life with the glitz of stardom makes the journey both relatable and dreamy, while Ridge’s secret adds just the right touch of drama to keep you hooked.
It’s a heartfelt reminder that love often arrives when you least expect it, and sometimes stepping outside your comfort zone leads to the most extraordinary adventures. A delightful escape and a must-read for anyone who craves swoon-worthy romance with a dash of Hollywood glamour!
She’s done it AGAIN! Kelly Fletcher truly owns my heart when it comes to romance. 💕 This one brings all the city/celebrity sparkle straight into a charming small-town setting, and I was obsessed from page one.
We’ve got: ✨ a heartthrob, newly single celebrity dad ✨ a sweet kindergarten teacher with big dreams of a farmhouse next to her sister’s flower farm 🌸 ✨ messy celebrity drama ✨ clear, honest communication (!!) ✨ and some seriously emotional moments that had me choking up 😭
The dynamic between our MMC and FMC felt so real—especially navigating the not-so-easy situation with the child’s mother, a wild-child celebrity using the MMC to keep her career alive. But the grace, honesty, and compassion the FMC brings? PERFECTION. 💖
If you haven’t read this author or this series yet… RUN. Don’t walk. Romance readers, you need these stories in your life!
