This is a dark romance book, all readers should be 18+ and read the triggers before starting this book.
Awakening Light is a dark romance with a strong, engaging story. Luna Nash crafts a vivid world filled with emotion, tension, and just the right amount of mystery. The characters share great chemistry, their interactions feel natural and full of spark, making it easy to root for them throughout.
That said, the pacing does feel a bit rushed in places, as if certain moments could have used more time to breathe. However, the epilogue does an excellent job of tying up the loose ends, it’s a heartfelt read with some difficulty subjects that are sensitively covered.
It's a wiiiild ride, no doubt about that. The characters are well-developed. The plot is good, but the ending doesn't feel quite..."goodbye". It felt sudden. Like the "okay" moment after the pregnancy reveal? I wasn't expecting that!
The writing style, though, is engaging, and it pulls you in from the first page. The author does a great job of this. This book is worth a read.
awakening light definitely has a darkness to it I felt like the story has great foundation but think that the story has a lot of run ons and felt that some things could've been described differently however the book is not a bad book especially with it being a short story and i think that the author put a lot of work into it 🖤
This is a short book, but it had a good plot. This is in a high school setting with flashbacks to early childhood. There are some triggers to be aware of including child abuse (SA), horrible parents, torture, and murder.
Juvenile writing, no depth. This book reads like a pre-teens daily diary entry about the things done that day with no insight or emotion. The story itself definitely has potential to be an amazing novel, just needs more work.
