- I loved this one. Kim’s books are always so easy to get into. I loved Michelle as a character and there were some powerful moments for her facing her grief. Her friends around her were all strong women and I loved their friendship and care for each other. It had such a beautiful, heartwarming message of love, family and community.

I wasn’t sure when Makkis arrived if I fully trusted him or Demetri to be honest- I’ll let you form your opinion on that one! It did show the reality of what happens to some people though.

I totally immersed myself in the story and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pace, writing style and characters were all on point. Although it’s part of series it works great as a stand alone too. I don’t have enough praise for Kim’s books.

Another fab book by one of my favourite authors, who I am truly lucky to also call a friend.

Absolutely loved Michelle as a whole package, she had been through so much, she had taken so much on her own shoulders due to different circumstances and she didn't need to shoulder it all. Her friends and family were there, she just didn't feel like she deserved the help.

Michelle is a great character, she's incredibly relatable. There are always things we wished we'd done differently or things we wish we'd never said but just having open conversations with the affected people can make a huge difference and flip the problem so it's dealt with and can be moved on from.

I was absolutely fuming at a certain Greek brother (no spoilers but Its not who you think I mean). You need to read it to know who I mean.

I absolutely loved the relationship Michelle had with her Nieces and the joy of being called Aunty, I know this feeling oh so well. I adore being an aunty.

Romantic, crazy, overthinking (that's a great combination I think), it's basically my personality.

This is one of those books where you want to shoot out to one of the characters, in this instance Michelle. Having moved to Sandpiper Shores where she is now living with her Greek boyfriend and running an independent PR business she is heartbroken when he had to move back to look after his ailing mother. She is surprised when his brother Makkis arrives and stays with her, offering her financial advice and investment opportunities.
What really makes this book for me is the setting, I'll always love books set in Cornwall and in particular the community spirit that this village has. You can look sideways Michelle for some of her decisions, but you can put this down to her caring nature. At least she has the support of her friends, who also encourage her to talk to her estranged brother. A nice, gentle, but in places frustrating (but part of the storyline), book to enjoy.
I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley, however this did not influence my review of the book.

Book 3 in the Sandpiper Shores series although can be read as a standalone for me it was good to be back in the beautiful Cornish village with some of the characters we have met before

Michelle has fallen head over heels with Demetri, for the first time in decades she is fully in love but then she has a massive life changer to contemplate to make….which could change everything, and does!

Enter Makkis, Demetri’s brother and again quite a catch but he has more plans than Michelle realises

In the midst of this a family reunion unexpectedly happens proving life gives good when seems to take away happiness sometimes

From Cornwall to Greece we are with Michelle as she makes tough decisions and see if love really is real

If you know this author’s books you will already know you will love it, full of humour yet heartbreak, joy verses despair and all wrapped up in a big love bow, a good romantic character led read that oozes fuzziness and warmth ( story and weather wise! )

Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book. 4 stars. This is the second book I’ve read in this series and I enjoyed the first so much I looked forward to returning to Sandpiper Shore. This book can be read as a standalone. The main character in this book is Michelle. She is currently dating hot doctor Demetri. He has to return to Greece to look after his poorly mother and she has decided not to go with him as she has her friends and work in Sandpiper Shore. She is trying to rebuild her life following Demetri’s departure when his brother Makkis arrives on her doorstep and she offers him to stay with her as he’s passing through. He is a constant reminder of Demetri which does not help Michelle’s broken heart. Spending time with Makkis makes her think she didn’t know the real Demetri so she sets off to Greece to surprise him and show him how she feels. A lovely heart-warming, funny, sometimes sad book. Would love to read more in the series.

Thank you NetGalley for this opportunity

Michelle lives in a beautiful Cornish location. Her dresciptions lead you to think of her as a kind considerate person a little insecure in herself since her mid life crisis move . She’s dating

Demtri a workaholic A&E doctor

Her friends are supportive they meet every Friday for a girls catch up.
The plot builds slowly through Michelle. You get a feel for her personality, likes and dislikes.

Then we meet Makis who is Demetris brother. Similar in looks but not character.

The character development is descriptive and so you can get a good insight into Michelle’s feelings and her friendship groups support. The trials and tribulations of a middle aged women and two brothers. Her fantastic friends as a support network. It has a underlying story that’s sad in parts as it’s interesting. A cosy read with romance tears and laughter.

This was my first book in the series so I was intrigued by all the characters and their stories. I have seen women like Michelle fall prey to men like Makis in real life and the entire time I was reading I was just thinking to tell her run far away. She fell so easily for Makis and his tricks, which was so believable because in real life, you don't think to not trust those close to you.

The romance in the book fell a bit flat to me. Her and Dimitri didn't really give me a consuming love where I was rooting for them to get together. And considering her age, I thought Michelle was a bit immature when she just left the Greek island without waiting for Dimitri to explain. Overall it was a nice read.

Part of a series which I've enjoyed. This is my least favorite. Our main character is a woman who was big in business and then after an almost breakdown has come here to start over and began her own small business. And yet, her actions, business wise make her seem beyond innocent and naive which just didn't work for me. Overall glad I read it as part of the series but was disappointed overall.

Full disclosure - I received a copy of the book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review

This is a book in a series, but can be a read alone. It’s easy to get into and it’s a good read. Michelle has a successful business, with a lovely boyfriend who is Greek and a doctor. When he decides to move back to look after his mother, she knows she can’t go. When his brother turns up and offers up a great deal she jumps at it. I liked this easy read, but it did annoy me that a bright woman got conned. I know it’s a very relevant subject in real life and showed it can happen to anyone. A great 4 star read. Thanks tomNetgalley and the publishers for a copy.

Ive shouted at the book, ive smiled with the characters, laughed and cried. Kim's books always put me there within the pages and ive loved being in Cornwall. Im desperate to visit.

Ive loved this series and really enjoyed reading what the other characters had been getting up to. Whilst this book is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone book too.

Kim's books are like a warm hug and I cant wait to get stuck back into another one.

I love the Sandpiper Shore books so it's such a delight to read Michelle's story. Love, heartbreak, a 'can you trust?' sexy hero - or two - and a momentous decision are all entwined in a gorgeous setting. Settle down with a cuppa and put your feet up for the afternoon, you won't want to put this one down.
