I don't know why but I'm invested in this series despite the incredibly insufferable and frustratingly stupid female characters, the immature and headache-inducing male characters and just how often being kidnapped or possibly being r*ped was mentioned in this book. I guess I like to punish myself for some reason...

Did I finish this book in one sitting, yes, I could not stop reading it. The rollercoaster of events to the kidnapping action and everything in between that occurs. Holy Hannah this was a good one.

I didn’t love this book. I didn’t h 8 this book. I h8 the series, but this book makes me feel “Meh”. I can say that the hero in this one, Liam, was more competent than either of his brothers-in-law, not that that’s saying much. But for men who are supposed to be powerful, they are all pretty helpless when a bad guy appears. Liam, at least, was decent at taking care of business and rescuing his wife, Irina. In fact, he spent most of the book saving Irina. Repeatedly. Irina gets kidnapped often- I lost count at four times- and the kidnappers always threaten to either SA her or to have her gang SA’d. It was beyond ridiculous. And the Bad Guy in this book was a woman who makes Cruella de Vil seem demure and understated.
This one wasn’t easy to rate because I should have given a lower rating to Mikhail and Natalya’s book. But I can’t in good faith give this book more than three stars. It’s a conundrum. So I will say that Mikhail gets worse with each book, and I feel very Meh about this one. I didn’t like it, but I thought that Liam was more effective than either of the other two men. Also, the love story was very meh, but they barely had time to fall in love in between kidnappings (of Irina, and others).

Liam has upset one of the higher Irish mafia dons by taking over from Cillian when he was killed, even though Cillian wanted that. Jack wanted one of his men instead, so as a punishment to Liam, he tells him he has to kidnap Natalya and Sasha. As he has already done this once and then released the women, he knows it's not going to be easy to do it again.
Irinia is in the wrong place at the wrong time and gets taken by mistake. Jack is not happy and forces Liam to marry Irina as punishment. Liam is not happy, but even more so when he finds out what else Jack has planned.
Liam has always had fun with the ladies, but that is it; he never wanted to be tied down, but there is something about Irina that pulls at his protectiveness. He can't stand by and let things happen, which lands him in ever bigger trouble. Now, not only has he Mikhail and Nico after him, but Elaine too. You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Finally, Liam and Irina starting off Liam handling the gang of the Irish mafia when their boss was killed but the big boss of their little gang Jack makes him do deeds that don’t sit well with him as a way to belittle or some form of punishment. But he has been ordered to re-kidnap Natalya and Sacha as a form of revenge of course he has some of his guys do the job but they kidnap Irina their sister and Jack wasn’t happy so he decides they should marry but he would be with his wife on their wedding night first and then he could be with her and it was that moment that he knew he would do everything, anything to protect his wife but will he be able to keep her safe, what will he do to keep her safe, will her sisters husband’s step in to help, and can they have a little peace, little happiness?

Davis does it again. This is the third book in this series and it is just as good as the first two. It follows the relationship between the third Petrov sister, Irina, and Liam. The two have very little history when Liam kidnaps Irina for his boss, who is trying to take something from Mikail and Nico, who are members of rival families and married to Irina's sisters. Liam's boss, Jack, is not happy that he got the wrong woman and forces the two to marry. Jack has some evil ideas about how Irina should be treated and who she should spend her wedding night with, and it's not Liam. Although he does not like Irina, Lia will not stand by and watch her get hurt. His actions start a chair reaction involving fights, kidnappings, and lots of running and hiding. Through it all, Irina and Liam acknowledge their feelings for each other, they just need to convince her family to accept Liam as part of her life rather than the monster they think he is.
There is one more sister, Ana. I can not wait to read her story next. There are no hints, that I saw, as to who her leading man might be though.

An outstanding story full of drama, suspense, danger, thrills, action and a romance that takes the story into a happily ever after ending. The story is a page turner that has excellent character throughout its pages that will get you to read all the way through.
At the beginning the woman and her mother and little sister are left to fend for themselves when the abusive uncle leaves to survive his enemies who are coming after him.
A story about a couple falling in love even though they weren't looking to fall for each other. Throughout the story the couple is forced to run for their lives from a lady seeking revenge for her husband's murder, the man saving the woman several times, a family that is set to tear them apart and to an uncle who’s seeking an alliance to get rid of his enemies.
At the end the family lets them be together to live their own lives. The vengeful lady is taken care of and the uncle flees from his enemies. The couple showing each other how much they love one another.
The couple are happy and in love even though their beginning wasn’t the best.

Liam is now a new boss after he took over when his Boss Cillian after he was murdered by Mikhail and his new partner Nico, Jack apparently is a "higher up Boss and is angry that Liam just took over instead of deferring to his power. He wants Liam to kidnap Natalya and Sasha who are married to Mikhail and Nico respectively to punish them for killing Cillian. Instead of getting the two women as instructed, one of Liam's lackeys brings back Irinia, the next younger sister. Jack decides to punish Mikhail and Nico and also to "put Liam in his place", he forces Liam and Irinia to marry. Jack learns that Irinia is a virgin and decides that he will get to be the first man to take her on her and Liam's wedding night. That one decision puts in motion a set of dangerous circumstances that forces Liam to see her as more than just a "punishment" and as someone he begins to care about and is determined to protect her and boy does she need protection! Great series, book and the characters had great chemistry.

This is the 3rd story in The Dark Mafia Series where we have meet 2 Petrov sisters and how they were married to other Mafia men once their father was killed by their ruthless Uncle. Irina now finds herself kidnapped by Liam from the Irish Mafia after they were unable to get Natalya and Sacha. Liam’s boss, Jack is evil and forces Liam to marry Irina against her wishes and they treat her horribly with cruelty no one should experience. Jack makes an announcement how their wedding night will go down and Liam is not part of it. Liam who never wanted to marry and finds the strength to save Irina on multiple occasions when those out to hurt her and they slowly build a relationship with fighting among his own men, danger among rivals, evilness and revenge by those out to end Irina. Ivy Davis sure knows how to capture a reader! The story and its characters will pull you in and leave you wanting for nothing! Except, maybe, future bonus chapters!! (Hint, hint, Ivy! 😉)

Eventhough this is Book 3, it’s safe to read as a standalone. But for optimal enjoyment of the story that threads throughout the series, I recommend reading Book 1 and Book 2. They will not disappoint.

This book pulled me in right away. Liam O’Connor is trouble from the start, reckless and violent, but the moment he takes Irina instead of her sisters, everything shifts. What starts as a punishment marriage turns into something so much more, and I loved watching them fight their feelings while danger closed in around them.
Liam is rough, unpredictable, and sometimes infuriating, but he is also the only one willing to stand between Irina and real harm. Irina tries so hard to hate him, and honestly she has every reason to, but the chemistry between them just will not quit. Their relationship is messy, toxic, and complicated, but that is what makes it impossible to stop reading. It's not my favorite book from Ivy Davis but still really good!

In boom three it carries on with Irina and Liam, he kidnaps her by mistake, he should have taken Natalya and Sasha for his boss Jack.
To make Liam suffer he orders Liam to marry Irina and says he will bed her first not Liam.
Jack dead, his wife Elaine wants them both dead, what could go wrong.
This is just the start of a compelling, dramatic and at times quite deadly and a story that i absolutely loved

Ivy Davis has done it again with another great addition to the Dark Mafia series. Darkest Game is the third book in the series but can be read as a standalone. This is Liam and Irina's story. It's filled with action, attempted rape, kidnapping, suspense and unexpected twists. I was hooked from the start and on the edge of my seat through the whole book. Definitely recommend reading. Look forward to reading more from the series.

This book is not only very addictive to read but it is going to become your favorite mafia romance book to read. Ivy has done a really wonderful job writing about Irina and Liam that keeps you hooked until you finish reading the entire book. It deserves a 5/5 stars due to the creativity of the storyline and characters as well as the intenseness between Liam and Irina that leads to their HEA together.

Liam took over his gang of the Irish mafia when his boss was killed. The big boss, Jack, wasn't very happy about it and makes him do some things as basically punishment. He is told to re-kidnap Natalya and Sacha so he can get his revenge. His flunky though grabs Irina, their sister, and it's the start of an ever changing mafia romance with tons of twists and turns and lots of danger. Enjoy.

A fantastic story that took me a little while to get used to at the beginning, but as it progresses, you understand how their relationship develops. It's a strange and awkward game Liam and Irina play at first, thanks to Liam's boss. But that doesn't matter, because even though he doesn't understand it yet, he'll do everything he can to protect Irina, because no one will touch what's his.

This is a great continuation of this series. The characters don’t want to attracted to each other, because they come from different Mafia Families. They have both been raised to believe the other were not worthy of notice.
Liam and Irina are fighting their feelings and trying to not get killed in the process. When they are pawns of Liams Mafia boss, it brings them closer together, and they finally give into their feelings and desires.

Great Story!!
I really enjoyed reading Darkest Game, this was a very fast read for me. Irina and Liam’s story had so many twist and turns in it with a lot of action too, with a beautiful ending. Loved it!!

Good book. Third book in the series but can be read as a standalone. He kidnaps her thinks it is her two sisters, his boss makes them marry as punishment. These two go back and forth but will win in the end

I have never hated a villain so much and she wasn't even the FMC.
IVY Davis did a wonderful job with this book. She had you cheering for Irina and Liam at every turn.

Irina and Liam’s story is fast paste and full of danger and they have to fight a lot of outside forces while also fighting feelings neither of them wanted from the start. It’s a hard fought war in love and betrayal and family issues that could test a saint lol. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
