This essay takes a look at the nuclear power industry and asks the question: is it the answer to global warming? From the title one can see that the answer is NO! Here I point out some very good reasons why the age of nuclear power is almost over. I list relevant sources of literature and other articles dealing with the adverse (carcinogenic) nature of radioactive waste and what it is doing to the environment. This essay would be useful to anyone who needs a quick reference to the pros and cons of nuclear power.
