In the quiet solitude of her daily bustle of life, Thirty-four year old journalist Micah Carter embarks on a path to find herself. A little late in the game as life has handed her many unexpected challenges slowing her down, she can’t help feeling behind her peers. Eager to deepen her bond with God and find purpose, she makes a bold move to leave everything she knows behind. Feeling the loneliness that comes with it all, she discovers comfort in the voice of a late-night radio host. His voice is like velvet, and his thoughtful musings coupled with music that speaks to her soul and resonate with her in a way no one else ever has. Night after night, she listens, feeling an unreasonable connection to the man behind the microphone.
Why is this a short story I groaned as I finished the last page. I want more! Love is always an interesting story. The characters I would love to invite into my home. This was very well done. Kudos to Suki Bleu and add me to your list of fans. I am anxiously awaiting Part 2 or perhaps you can just indulge us with the whole book. Must read!
