Read Prelude before you read this. I am absolutely loving Arianna. She is fearless and intends to fight for everything she wants. The storyline is so good and it flows so well. I loved every letter of this story.

Heed the trigger warnings. Now I just have to wait rather impatiently for the next book.

Geezus, fuck me dead now! Harley nows how to ruin us with these insane, heart thumping cliffhangers! My Legacy to Take is her entrance into the mafia romance genre and she totally fucking nailed it. Forget about a male lead kicking arse in a mafia romance, this book has Arianna. She is one smart, calculated, fearless, badass, knife wielding bitch, and I absolutely fucking love her. And behind every great woman, is a great man, and that man is Vittorio.

After reading the prelude, I just knew this story was going to be a banger. Having the fmc as a true lead in a story, with the men really being secondary in the story, makes for a refreshing read and gets me all giddy like a kid in a candy store. The story is well paced with and awesome, engaging plot. There is hella spicy goodness that builds up throughout the book. It's quite obvious that it was a one sit read for me.

I love and loathe Harley for what she has done to me. The cliffhanger got me screaming!

Loving it – what is next?
Harley has done it again, producing her first mafia-based book. It is a well written misogynistic-style story, as per the norm of mafia-based books. Although no place / country is identified as a setting, this is not needed as a focus point. The MFC, Arianna Bianchi, is a strong badass character from the start, who takes no prisoners in making her stand as ‘Donna’. (Reading the Prelude is a must to understand how Ari got to this point). Having no-one to trust, except from her house-keeper mother figure, Ari takes a leap of faith with Vittorio, a tattooed bad boy mafia ‘spare’ frenemy. But, with trouble constantly nipping at her heels, both at home and with the misogynistic Syndicate ran by the other mafia families, who will prove to be her right-hand? As per Harley’s norm, this book ends on a cliff hanger. Roll on book 2!

When I tell you I am HOOKED!

When Vittorio says ‘now you are mine, and I am yours. Together we are stronger. Divided, they will fall’ and proceeded to prove he had thought of everything 😍

I did assume either betrayal or death for Matteo, will Ari get to give him her trademark makeover, she’s a strong woman who takes what she wants and lets no one stand in her way

Something big is coming I can feel it 🔥

They are the definition of a power couple, will they withstand what’s to come though…..I really hope so.

Will they burn the world whilst they rise to the top or will the syndicate be proven right…..the writing is brilliant the only downfall is I have to wait for the next book! I both love and hate a cliffhanger 🙈

I said in my review of Prelude, that I expected this series to be one hell of a ride, and my goodness, it is!

We literally pick up where Prelude left off. Amid the carnage, the metallic tang of blood in the air and the final emergence of the real Arianna. The woman she was always meant to be...not the mild, silent, trophy girlfriend and daughter that the men foolishly mistook her for.

Ari is a woman with a plan and woah betide anyone who gets in her way.

If you are reading this review before you read My Legacy to take, then buckle up b*tch and hold on to your knickers!
If you are reading it afterwards, are you okay sis?

Wow! I’m hooked I thought the prelude was epic but this blows it away! I love a strong female lead and the more ruthless the better. To have a strong female lead that’s actually in the mafia and is taking them on is just outstanding!

Ari is one woman who sure as hell takes no punches, she doesn’t hold back she unleashes and takes no prisoners. This woman is focused and knows what she wants. She also gets what she wants.

The writing is smooth and flows beautifully without getting lost. The plot is unique and the cliffhanger - damn you woman I need the next book! Like now!!! 🤣

Just as Arianna needs to take control of the syndicate, just as Matteo needs to be seen by the woman he loves, just as Vittorio needs Arianna to accept every part of him… I NEED TO KNOW HOW THIS ENDS. The prelude was a good but this blew me out of the water! The violence, the spice, the plot thickening. It’s so good. Harley Raige has always been an impressive author and I am amazed how this series can be this good for being her first Mafia romance series. No doubt in my mind that if you’re this far, asking yourself if you should read it, you already know the dirty little answer.

Another fabulous installment from the Queen of strong female characters 😁

We continue exactly where Prelude (book 0.5) left off, with Arianna continuing her one badass woman mission to destroy a world that has been run by men for years.

Actually Badass doesn't even begin to cover how exceptional this woman is! She knows exactly what she wants and she'll do anything to get it 💪🏼

The story moves along at a nice pace and that cliffhanger ending.....!!!!!
I need book 2 now Miss Raige 🤯😁

Read cover to cover in one sitting….cause who needs sleep with Arianna and Vittorio!! Loved the intensity between these two and they’re definitely ‘stronger together’

I hate a cliff-hanger usually and I’m pretty sure I was yelling at the last few pages what it was, but I’m convinced…it’s so worth it! I NEED the final instalment now! 💥🔥

YOU MUST READ THE PRELUDE FIRST ITS A MUST !!!

I absolutely devoured this I kept putting it down wanting to make it last longer but at the same time needing to know what happened next.
I loved every thing about this story and can’t believe the cliffhanger it’s been left on.
I’m not putting any spoilers in my review if you love mafia, touch her and ☠️ super strong female energy then this series is for you.
You will not regret it.

WOW what a start to this series, I absolutely loved Arianna and Vittorio’s story ❤️❤️❤️ she is one determined, tough woman. She has taken on the Syndicate and plans on winning. So far she is owning her world and they should be worried. Matteo is a problem I hope Vittorio brings him to an end. Oh My freaking gods that was such a ride! I loved every minute of this story. It's definitely once you pick it up you can't put it down. You just have to devour it.

I love Arianna, she's a bad ass bitch and such a fantastic character.
Of all the male characters I'm a sloppy mess for Vittorio.

From the writing to the character to the storyline, Everything about this novel is perfect!

Gotta love a women who’s had just enough to bring the violence!!

And, boy does she.

Arianna is done playing nice, and quiet. She’s ready to show the “boys club” that she’s better than them.

Vittorio is a little too nice honestly for the boys club. I can’t wait to watch him get mad.

Bellino is the brother of Vittorio and honestly I need more of him. His crazy matched her crazy.

The betrayer makes sense and he’s such a little boy.

Absolutely amazing read. What a ride this was and I cant wait to jump into book 2. Arianna is a force to be reckoned with but love seeing her softer side. Vittorio is the underdog when it comes to his family but OMG does he show up. The connection between the MCs is electric and absolutely delicious to read. Bellino is unhinged is the best way, can’t wait to see how book 2 plays out. This story had me on the edge of my seat with the twists. And that cliffhanger ahhh. Highly recommend reading

These are some messed up characters. But would you expect anything else with competing Mafia families?!
Arianna is dark, deadly and as sharp as a blade. And Vittorio is the softness to her hard edges - or is that just one side to him?
With a 50 shades of black brother like Bellino, the depths of hell are the limit.
Can’t wait to see it all come to heads in the conclusion.

Wow!! The Queen of cliffhangers does it again. This continues on from prelude and sees arianna working to solidify her place and destroying anyone who gets in her way. I loved how spicy this was and I love Arianna as a character she’s such a fiery female boss and I loved vittario he’s perfect in every way. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next book after the way this one ended!!

Am I surprised? Yes and no like I knew someone was gonna double cross her but I never saw this not till the very end LIKE WTF

The fmc is a strong character! She has no one to trust but puts that trust into the mmc. She is constantly into trouble but keeps going because she’s a beast!

Arianna is my hero and I want to be her when I grow up. I can not wait to read the next book, but I really don't want the series to end .... bittersweet to know I get another book but knowing it's the end of the series.
