For a volume of short novels I quiet enjoyed reading this volume, especially the tribute to Lovecraft, the escaped slime and the new addition to the household. Others were in all honesty a bit silly, and in the weirdest one the author at least mentions it is a what-if story and definitely not canon. I also liked the intro and outro by the author in which the context of each story was explained including a bit on his writing process in general and how the individual stories fitted into the larger story (if at all). Your mileage might vary, but I really liked the volume.
