BRIDGELAND is a contemporary suspense drama set in Barbados. Two underprivileged teen brothers make a desperate attempt to rob a wealthy home that gets the home owner's son killed. Twelve years later, as one brother lives a life of success built on a lie and the other brother languishes in prison, the grief-stricken father weaves a Machiavellian web of revenge and betrayal to destroy his son's killer.
Bridgeland is a crime tragedy of two families united by a single act of violence in Barbados. The build-up of tension is well handled, but the time jumps and underdeveloped characters suggest that the narrative could have been given more room to breathe.
