Underkeeper #4

The Seat of Molten Stone

Rate this book
The epic conclusion to Underkeeper, out now!

The Conclave at the Sacral Peaks was meant to unite humanity against the Duergar invasion. Instead, Bernt and Torvald find themselves fighting to keep the Invigilation from turning on the very people it was created to protect. Bernt only wants to understand his new magic, but intrigue quickly swallows them both.

Fortunately, the Duke and his advisors have heard of Bernt’s sorcery, and they’re convinced that with the right backing, it could change everything—both for him and Besermark. But progress is slow, and danger is rising. Besermark risks a two-front war unless they can reach the Duergar Empire. As the only available witness to King Grundrik’s aggression, Bernt must join a diplomatic mission into the heart of the enemy’s domain to convince the Duergar Imperial Council to rein in one of their own.

But the Seat of Molten Stone offers more than negotiations. Grundrik thinks he’s already won—and unless Bernt finds a way to stop him, no one’s words will matter.

Underkeeper is a best-rated serialized novel on Royal Road with thousands of followers and over a million views. Now professionally edited and available on Amazon and Audible narrated by Daniel Thomas May.
