Selina's heading back to Gotham City, but not before she deals with the betrayals and truths she's uncovered. In this case, it's not about who wins, but who loses the least!

“The riddler got into my head and plucked out the very thing I feared the most. A world in which everywhere I turned, Batman was there to save me.”
Such a solid run that compliments the other Loeb and Sale Batman works so well! As we jump into this issue the truth has now been revealed, Eddie has been pulling the strings the entire time and now it’s time for the final showdown between Catwoman and Cheetah, riddler, scarecrow, and the Don’s son armed with an ice gun! And she takes them out like a boss, moving just like Batman would as she goes for the most dangerous goes first and works her way down. Using each of their weapons against the other until she finally manipulated riddler into stabbing into the ice gun and ending the fight. Eddie revealed during the fight that he did all of this to try and get her to admit who the Batman is (even though she has no real idea) and her payed to go to Rome and be with her in the meantime, the extra ring stuff with the mafia was just an added bonus. But those plans go up in smoke with the rest of Blondie’s shop as it explodes. Luckily Blondie was waiting in a boat just outside the ship to pick her up, and as they get back into the city he reveals to her the truth…Louisa was lying to her. She has a second daughter after Sofia was born. As Blondie was the godson to the Roman he got to see the child, but in secret the Roman feared what the Don thought of him. Not having a masculine child was not a good look, so he ordered the child to be disposed of. But Louisa stopped them, he isn’t sure what she promised but the girl was taken to America and given up for adoption. But other than that circumstantial evidence they have no real proof that Selina is related to the Falcones. But what she does know is that Blondie finally told her even with the risk of dying. If that’s not romantic she doesn’t know what is. They spent the next few weeks traveling with each other all over Italy, but I’m not sure Selina ever knew what happened to him. Blondie ended up having to go and report to Louisa at one point, and because of his failure in recovering the ring be received a bullet to the back of the head. Selina waited for him at the airport that day, but the only person she ran into was a very angry Edward looking for the ring. So she gave it to him…or really she gave him a mock ring with a fear gas trigger to torment him a bit. Blondie and her made a deal, that if neither of them showed up at the airport then to turn around and walk away forever. Blondie couldn’t show up and Selina walked onto the plane to take her back to her life in Gotham. She ended up keeping the ring, who knows…she may need it one day.

A bland storyline with a sad ending. Cheetah being beaten twice by Catwoman is enough to make this bad but on top of that it was just so boring. Such a shame since it started so well. The ending being sad when the rest of the book was so lacklustre is also a strange thing to see. Wouldn't have kept on reading and not quite sure why I did but I did and wouldn't do it again.

i'm sad this run is over! i'm sad about blondie. 8( i love that selina got some knowledge, even if she didn't get proof. i kind of hope she becomes the head of all the crime families...
