I enjoyed this quick book.
It grabs you from the first page. I enjoyed the story. I loved the FMC Willows smart-assery (this should be a word) a girl after my own heart with her sassy comebacks.
I enjoyed Andras character. A demon, but a sensitive demon when it comes to Willow.
I liked Hades and Persephone in this book. They are portrayed in a different way then in any other book i have read with them in it and I Liked it.
I felt as if the book was a bit rushed and wished it was longer so it wasn't so rushed. But I'm excited to see where the story goes in the next one.

Nothing cuts deeper than the lies told by the people who are supposed to love you. The lies Willow believed all her life were the cuts that sent her straight to Hades. But that's only the beginning. Bombshells are dropped on her left and right, and all she can do is try to keep up, picking up the pieces as she goes. Amidst all the chaos that is her afterlife, Willow knows one thing: she WILL avenge her murder.

The Sacrificial Lamb is a far cry from what I would typically choose, and yet it had me in its snare from the beginning. It was SO different from my typical choice that I couldn't stop. I had to know what was next. A mix of cultist life and Greek mythology, this is a great read for fans of dark/paranormal thrillers with a side helping of spice.

Although it isn't the kind of story I would normally gravitate toward, I still give it a hot four stars.

Ravenheart Rating: 8/10
Spice Factor: Level 7 open door (Yes I strayed from my no-spice brand for this story.)

I had the absolute pleasure of reading this book as an ARC. I have to say, as someone who loves horror and not so much romance, I was captivated. The book seemlessly blended romance with satanic aspects and god and goddesses. it was unique, well written, and for sure worth a read!

I had the pleasure of reading this authors book early and let me say!!!! It may not be my normal genre but I loved every second of this book. I need more like yesterday.
M.S Wrights captured me with this book. I knew nothing except the title. Reading willow’s journey as she is trying to recover from a life mishap to say.. and then finding out a bombshell.. to how to gets her revenge! As she says in the book “you may call me karma…and I always collect”
M.S please keep this series going for me.

Willow Evans life has been turned upside down and doesn't think it could get any worse. Little does she know it can and does. Her father and twin brother are keeping secrets from her, and she doesn't know why. Her father calls her after 3 years of being missing, and she goes to see him, and all hell breaks loose. She is sacrificed and goes to Hell, where everything she has ever known is false. Her family isn't her real family. She meets her real family and has to fight to save her life. She has to do things she never thought she would do...

I am absolutely obsessed with this one! I had no idea where the story was going, but after the twist, I was hooked. What happens after being used as a sacrifice and waking up in hell? The only answer—seek revenge! Dark, gripping, and impossible to put down. I cannot wait for the next book!

I recently had the pleasure of reading this author’s work, and her writing style is truly unique. I’m already looking forward to diving into more of her stories in the future.

This novel blends elements of satanic sacrifice, gods and goddesses, the lost child of Hades and Persephone, soulmates, and revenge. It leans toward Gothic Romance or Romantic Fantasy, with an atmosphere that pulls you in from the first page.

I enjoyed watching Willow navigate the chaos—struggling to process the constant wave of revelations coming at her from every direction. Andras is far from your typical broody male; his quick wit and sharp tongue make the banter between him and Willow a highlight.

For the next novel, I’m hoping to see even more of Willow (Novena) embracing her vengeance, as well as deeper, more intimate moments between her and Andras. Overall, this book is a strong start to what I’m confident will become an amazing series.

Nothing cuts deeper than the lies told by the people who are supposed to love you... and this story makes you feel every one of those cuts! What starts as a brutal betrayal quickly spirals into an intoxicating mix of vengeance, mythology, and the afterlife. I wasn’t expecting to be this hooked, especially since it’s outside my usual reads, but once I started, I couldn’t stop!

Willow’s sharp wit and relentless drive make her the kind of FMC you root for from page one. Her journey through Hell (literally) is chaotic, darkly funny, and surprisingly emotional. I loved the unique blend of Greek mythology and cult undertones, the way romance weaves into the darkness, and how even the demons had layers. The pacing felt a little rushed at times, but the story’s originality and wild twists more than made up for it. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

put a lot of ideas in my head

To start off, I absolutely love the plot idea behind this book. I can honestly say I’ve never thought about a nice trip to hell but this book makes it sound pretty good as long as you are there for the right/wrong reasons.
Poor Willow has really went through it and I am shocked at how a few things played out. But she is sassy and strong willed as she can be and no one will keep her down for long. Andras is a great counter for her. Protective and knows when to push or coddle just a bit. Why are demons so hot??
Really hated how this one ended because I need more I think Willow needs our support

Welcome to a book of twist and turns. Characters that grab your attention and a plot that keeps you hooked!

This is not a book I personally would normally pick up but I am so glad I did! Definitely one of those don’t judge a book by its cover. You won’t regret it!

Willow navigating the chaos that ensues and processing revelations that come each way. Revenge after being sacrificed and sent to He**. I was hooked from the start and cannot wait to read more of her stories. It’s a quick read and keeps you wanting more from the author!!

I was granted the opportunity to read this book early and what a ride it was!! Cult aspects, a sacrifice, time spent in Hell, mythology references...the whiplash was absolutely crazy. Is this a revenge novel? Partially. Is this a novel about how family can be the biggest liars you know? Partially. Is this an unforgettable Romantasy/mythology retelling? Absolutely. Grab a comfortable blanket and spend an autumn evening reading the most unexpectedly captivating novel, it kept me intrigued and reading until the very last page. Book hangover? It is me and I am it.

I had so much fun with this book and my heart breaks for Willow, she has been through so much from loss, love and betrayal. The rollercoaster of emotions and twists and turns was a wild and fun ride! I also loved that it was a relatively short book and I was able to read it in one sitting. My biggest question that I need to know is WHERE IS RYAN!! Is he dead? Don't kill Ryan! LOL Thank you M.S Wright for sharing your world with me I can't wait to keep reading more of your books!

If you’re looking to take a journey of twists and revelations with a relatable character (because let’s be real who doesn’t have a running commentary in their head) who’s spicy and spirited, this is the book for you. Fast paced and with a love interest who is swoon worthy. Come follow Willow on the adventure of a lifetime. I can’t wait for her story to continue.

This book had me dropping my jaw with revelations. Poor Willow went thru something unimaginable at the hands of someone she trusted. Once details started to reveal itself, it leaves her with even more questions. The title is everything this book is and is the perfect book for this spooky, Halloween season. I highly, highly recommend this book.

This was a different kind of book than I normally read so I feel my review may be different than most. It was a good book, but it just felt rushed obviously since it was a short book. But I dont think this is my cup of tea but you did a great job!!

M.S Wright delivered a fun and delicious novel that takes us into the depths of Hell. The main character is witty and sarcastic, making her a fun one to follow as she dishes out a nice plate of Karma.
