Kiorah Delyric is a self-made real estate powerhouse who thrives on high-risk deals and a no-nonsense attitude. Confident, egotistical, and fiercely independent, she arrives in San Juan determined to close the biggest acquisition of her career—a struggling casino with hidden potential. But what she doesn’t expect is Nozair Santori. The brooding heir to a powerful drug empire, Nozair is caught between duty and desire, legacy and freedom. Their first encounter sparks a fire neither of them are prepared for, igniting a dangerous game of power, seduction, and secrets. As passions rise and trust crumbles, Kiorah and Nozair are pulled into a storm of betrayal, cartel politics, and personal demons. When their two worlds collide, both must decide how much they’re willing to sacrifice—for love, for survival, and for the future they never thought they’d want. Set against the backdrop of luxury, crime, and a love that defies logic, this book is a provocative urban tale filled with raw emotion, explosive chemistry, and enough twists to keep you turning the page until the very last word.
This was a good story. Kiorah knew she was that girl, but she was in for a rude awakening when it came to Nozair. These two had an instant attraction, but they fought it due to them both being interested in the same property. Nozair was determined to win, and he did just that and got the girl. The way he handled her in thar elevator was HOT. The urban elements were done well. The twists with that part of the plot had me sat. Nozair's mama was a piece of work, and I'm glad she got her karma in the end. Good story with a good HEA
