Aww sooo cute! It only took me about a chapter to know I was going to love this book. The immediate entry into the plot got me hooked, and I’m glad to say that I stayed invested the whole time. Juliana’s accidental eavesdropping of the Duke of Windsor’s bet had me screaming “nooooo” at my kindle, whilst Lucian’s own fascination with Miss Astley had me giggling and kicking my feet like a school girl. The banter was everything, and I will never get over the witty lines from our main man (even as Juliana cringes at his every sudden appearance).
There’s humor, tenderness, and some good old sisterly mischief wrapped up in this regency romance. Plus, as a fellow clumsy girl, what more could you ask for then to fall into the arms of a handsome gentleman? Even one you despise.
I can't wait to read about Rose + the Duke of Pembroke in the next book!
