Seventeen-year-old Vienna Hampscranth has everything the Alpha elite of New London Town could dream of—status, privilege, a future already written for her. But Vienna carries a she feels everything. In a society numbed by “Mood Correctors” and controlled by One.Gov, her empathic gift makes her restless… and dangerous.

When a cryptic message from a mysterious figure known only as 41 sparks an awakening, Vienna is drawn into a world of forbidden truths and buried magic. Her search for answers leads her beyond the glittering facades of the Upscales into the broken lands of the Forgotten, where whispers of an ancient power—Eila’s Heart—stir.

Pursued by government forces and haunted by visions she doesn’t understand, Vienna must choose between the life she was born into and the destiny calling her deeper. The fate of more than one world may depend on her courage to listen—to her heart, and to something greater.

Mystic Volume I launches an epic saga where dystopian science fiction collides with ancient sorcery, rebellion, and love — a coming-of-age story for fans of high-stakes fantasy and emotionally rich, character-driven adventures.

Maha Brown is the author of The Esoteric Path of Marriage, which she wrote with her husband, David Pan Brown.

Having experienced a divine vision in the American desert, Maha quit her job in London for a pilgrimage to India. Following some months of meditation, she had an encounter with the formless aspect of the Divine Mother as her heart leapt into spacious communion with that Eternal Presence, sparking the beginning of an intense, devotional awakening. It was in India where Maha met David in the ashram of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, which translates as Mother of Immortal Bliss, known to the World as Amma, 'the hugging saint'.

Maha often finds herself surrendering to divine raptures, accompanied with blissful tears. Also known as Lakshmi, she is a compassionate healer. Through holding the space of Unconditional Love she has reconnected many to their Spirit and has even helped relieve the suffering of people afflicted with back problems, depression, chronic fatigue etc. Many have reported having divine visions in these sessions.
