Ludicrous Legends is a hilarious new junior fiction series that reimagines myths in a fun way for early readers, 7 to 10 years old.
Hector and his best friend, a centaur named Hylo, are about to be tested on Greek mythology by their teacher Mr Socrates. Join them as they come to grips with the mighty Minotaur, the famous Trojan Horse/Cow, and the terrifying Medusa whose snake-hair is definitely not keen on a haircut.
A ludicrous, light-hearted and very loose retelling of three classical legends.
Jol Temple writes the best kids stories, they’re my go to when I have to get a gift for any of my niblings. This one is no exception.
Hector has a test coming up on some of the Greek myths. He is revising with his best friend Hylo (who happens to be a centaur). They go through three of the myths with a bit of a loose interpretation at sometime, but it was thoroughly enjoyable.
The pictures are really cute as well. There are comic strips in the book as well to help tell the stories and it just ends up being an enjoyable, light hearted read.
