Stranded

Rate this book
As soon as I saw the place, I knew I had stumbled upon paradise. I couldn't have picked a better vacation spot myself. That is, if there was a hotel and I hadn't just fallen out of the sky.

But there was a silver lining to my less-than-graceful three gorgeous men. Eye candy of the highest order. Sure, they seemed a bit grumpy and rough around the edges, but I was willing to look past that for a chance to escape this "paradise."

This kind of irritated me .... This book gives nothing towards the entire theme. I don't know why the author felt it was necessary to add all this sugar daddy drama crap in it ...most people who have those relationships literally don't walk around saying "hey this is my sugar daddy" anyway. I 🤦🏽‍♀️ second, This was the most unromantic way of going about it literally. one night on the island and they're already just throwing around the topic of sex as if it's a business deal.... The tension is giving more hate than sexual. And then nothing even happens on the island. they're off the island so fast that I don't even understand the point of calling this book stranded. Instead of them having time, instead of her using situations on the island that could have brought them close together it was honestly just awkward.

The book had promise but ultimately just didnt seem like it knew what it was doing.
The whole thing was about a plane crash(es), except they are rescued by the 30% mark and she was only there for a couple of VERY non eventful days. The rest is just them sort of....taking a long time to explain nothing.
The pacing was roughhhh. They got rescued which should have been momentous but honestly happened in a paragraph that I legit almost missed and was super vague and rushed through. They spent more time talking about how she broke a nail then on the rescue. Thats just an example but that kept going throughout the rest of the book. Things just sort of happened with no lead up and no true causality, and no memorable fallout. There was no intense emotion at ALL.
The characters were....not so great either. Two of them were fairly alike, and then the one guy who was just the absolute stereotype for entitled f-boy douchecanoe who seemed like he was a narcissist. He was built to be THE 'c0ntention character' and had to defy everyone at every turn for literally no reason at all. He was a lazy jackwad and was like "I'll turn things around" the moment he was on dry land only to do exactly NONE of that. He basically pressured everyone into the situationship then spent the rest of ever complaining about it the moment after he got his fix. But it wasnt for any reason, and there was no drive. It was a very flat and emotionless and pointless switch.
The whole relationship was tepid and bland and just regrettable. They didnt have any emotion or care, they just sort of shrugged and went 'I guess I could get boned, but also im kinda tired, idk". And the pacing for the entire thing was horrendous.

Honestly I could keep going and give more details but, like the characters in this book, I just dont care.

If youre desperately bored then sure this might entertain you for an hour or so. And this is coming from someone who likes pretty trashy books (I do NOT have high standards).

Harper thought her life was great. She had a sugar daddy that paid all her bills, provided her with an elaborate apartment, gave her the best gifts money could buy and gave her a hefty monthly allowance all in exchange for being quiet about their relationship and being at his beck and call. On her way back home the plane crashed on an island where she comes face to face with 3 guys who have been stranded on the same island since their plane had crashed a month or so earlier. Nate, Zach and Eli are all handsome in their own way, even in their current conditions. After a few weeks being stranded with the guys, Harper does a lot of soul searching and realizes that money and material objects really can't make you happy. Tensions rise and lines get blurred before and after they are rescued. This book has it all, including crazy ex's. Can't wait to see what Alyssa comes out with next!!.

This book is different in a way. The first time reading this author and I was not disappointed at all but pleasantly surprised. Harper has it all. A sugar daddy, getting everything she wants is no issue. Then the unthinkable happens a plane crash or two and being stranded on an island. This brings Harper to looking and reflecting and realizing money isn't everything and doesn't bring happiness. Really like how the guys are all unique. The thing is though that when they're rescued it isn't back to normal but finding out what it is that they want. And gotta love the crazy ex's in here. An author to check more books from for sure. Can't wait to see what's next.

Seriously... the only woman stranded on an island with three gorgeous guys? Yes, please!

This was a fun, steamy read. Loved the individuality of all the guys... together, they made up everything Harper realizes she needs in her life.

Great read!.

As soon as I realised this girl is justifying being a side piece…just no. I can’t read about someone knowingly ruining another woman’s life and then she gets her own HEA.

This novel is a RH novel where 3 men and a woman are stranded on a deserted island and must survive. The novel heats up later in the book (slow burn) and the individuals are drawn together based upon the trauma of the incident. There was mild suspense; however, I really wish that there was a pivotal moment with the sugar-daddy’s wife that provided a punch that would have kicked it to the next level.

A great book and I usually don’t like reverse harem! The comradery of the guys and Harper was well written and I like how the relationship between them all progressed. It wasn’t a slap in your face but more realistic for this kinda of genre.

This book starts off with a unbelievable coincidence that I found to be intriguing. If steaminess, drama and determination sounds good to you than this book is calling your name.
