✨ Review:
So here’s how it started: I saw someone review this on Instagram and thought, “What’s a HU-COW romance?” I didn’t know. I was curious. I read Buttercream. And now I know. I really know. And I’m still laughing.
This book is a fever dream of a short story. A photographer stumbles into a magical meadow, meets a Minotaur, starts lactating (surprise!), and falls into a whirlwind of insta-love with him and his two equally horned-up brothers. It’s fast, it’s filthy, and it’s so ridiculous that I couldn’t stop giggling even during the spicy bits.
- The humor is intentional and unrelenting. It knows exactly what it is and leans in hard.
- The Minotaur brothers are oddly charming, each with their own flavor of “please let me worship you.”
- The pacing is pure chaos, but in a way that feels like a rollercoaster you didn’t know you needed.
Buttercream is the kind of book you read when you want to laugh, blush, and text your friends “WHAT DID I JUST READ.” It’s not deep. It’s not subtle. But it is a ridiculously fun time. Perfect for when your brain needs a break and your inner chaos goblin wants a snack.
