The book was great, personally I’d love a spin off sort of like a 5th novel involving all the characters going on a one shot adventure, something that showcases them after the 10 years when stone finally gets his long awaited vacation and meets the goddess once more.

The leveling aspect of the story was good, I assumed with the many deaths at the beginning and the many levels that it would be heavily focused on those aspects, however by the end of book one, it was pretty much a lost aspect the briefly appeared here and there throughout the other books aside from the end of book four, I’d have like to see more of the leveling but even so I believe it was well done.

There were a couple grammatical issues or odd sentences but that isn’t necessarily the worst thing, maybe 6 or so per book, the jokes and references throughout the books made me visibly crack a smile, I enjoyed the nods towards other works almost as if a knowledge check for the reader.

The dungeons and spells were by far the most interesting part of the story, having each dungeon be a living being almost like each one was its own living world, with the use of the spells being enjoyable to, seeing stone use them in some almost uncanny unexpected way.

Gwap was easily my favorite character from the moment he’s introduced in the cell, the way he acts and the way everyone suspects him of being smarter than he lets on, with the ending revealing that he happens to be the god of dungeons, less bound by the rules due to his title and what he does for the rules.

Being able to piece parts of the story together here and there was also a nice touch, for instance, when they arrived in Gwap’s office when in the dungeon, I almost immediately figured out that it was his dungeon, and that he was likely some sort of god, the brief show of his power during the ocean front assault also added to this deduction.

The beginning was a bit rocky at first. I think the author really hit their stride in the last two books.

Some spelling/grammatical/odd sentence structure but I read it on Kindle so not sure if it was lack of editing or if it was the conversion that caused it.

Loved the plot and characters but I wish the conclusion was more fleshed out - allowing me to witness real conversations surrounding all the characters feelings toward one another.

I liked this premise but the moron MC only seems capable of dying over and over. By page 120 the character had died at least 10 times in the same stupid way. Not for me DNF...
