Danny Malone is not your typical 12 year old 6th grader. Sure, he’s little, but growing. He gets his lunch money stolen by the class bully just like all the other little guys, but there’s one thing about him that is a little different. He has a Black Belt in martial arts. He can’t use what he knows though, because he had promised his dad, a Black Belt himself and U.S. Air Force Middleweight World Champion that he’ll never use what he knows outside the Judo mat. A story about enough is enough in this exciting tale of what happened to Danny when he broke his promise to his dad. Get this Amazon bestseller for just $2.99. Regularly priced at $4.99. Read on your PC, Mac, smart phone or Kindle device. This book is intended for middle grade readers and older. What happens to Danny is fantastical and even magical, but who says it can’t happen in this crazy world we live in!
I love Danny, the hero of this unique story. He's like every boy who's ever been picked on by the class bully, except Danny has a secret weapon, although not allowed by his father to use it - he has a black belt in martial arts. Can't wait for more Danny Malone.
Literary Fiction comes to the 6th Grade You may know me from reading my mystery/action adventure novels, so this book may seem to be a bit of a departure to you. But it’s really not. It has been said that all fiction is autobiographical, and this one is no exception. When you read this book and I hope you do, the boy Danny is me, at least the little guy in the Judo sequences who flips the big tank of an airman in the Judo demonstration. I was that little guy. And I went to Catholic school and had to wear a tie. The rest of it of course is pure fiction. Hope you like it. Take action today and download this book for a limited time discount of only $2.99. No doubt about it, if I didn't read so much I'd probably write a hell of a lot more books. Don't even know how many books I've written - 4 B.B. Rivers mystery-action-adventure novels.
I was hoping for a trilogy but somehow ended up with 5, with one more on the way. This 6th one is to be titled "The Incredible Shrinking Ego - Murder on the Edge" and takes place not only in Austin, Texas (as usual) but also in the jungles of Guatemala.
I've got another series for all ages I call Family Fiction featuring Harley, a retired meter reader who can't stop walking and picks up litter around his town. He lives in the woods with his pet raccoon. There are three books in this series.
I didn't know what to expect about that book. I generally judge my book by the cover and I didn't like the cover of this one much but it proved me wrong. I liked the now/back to the past style in which it was written. There was a lot of feelings and vibration coming to from the main character. The story was build as if told by a 12 years old which was a create change compare to generally overly childish kids we got in books these days. I enjoyed the story and the building of suspense. I wished there would have been a bit more of description, especially about the killing and escaping in the now part of the action but I can also understand what happened from the main character's psychology. It was a fun read, I'm happy I had the chance to discover it.
This was quite an unusual but action packed story for kids!
Quite an exciting and pretty fast paced ebook of action. Enjoyed it! For these reasons I would like to recommend this for five stars and for kids say between 6-12 and for those who like such short and clean read stories as I do. I received this for free and in return, here is my honest review. Super job Denniger! By Angela
