I never believed in the saying that broken souls always find a way to each other. At least, that’s what I told myself—until two very different people slipped past my defenses. Thea Torres has always been my anchor. My best friend. My light. The one person who knows every crack in me and still chooses to stay. She brought the sunshine to my storm, steadying me when the shadows tried to drag me under. Then there’s Cillian O’Sullivan—our family’s enforcer, lethal and totally off limits. He should terrify me. Instead, he sees the parts of me I’ve buried, and he doesn’t flinch. With him, surrender doesn’t feel like losing. It feels like freedom. But in this world, love is never safe. Not when old enemies crawl out of the dark, and not when trusting the wrong person could get us all killed. I never meant to fall for both of them. I never meant to want the impossible. But some things are worth the risk… …even if it destroys me.
Sophie is neurodivergent, British author currently residing in Dubai. She writes Mafia Romance with all the twists and turns you thought you saw coming.
Broken Legacy is book three of The Notorious Legacy Series.
Here we get to see the relationship unfold for Thea, Gracie and Cillian. It was initially just Thea and Gracie, but the more time Gracie spends with Cillian, the more feelings she develops for him. It started out more as a love triangle and developed into something more. Good addition.
Gracie never believed in the saying that broken souls always find a way to each other. At least, that’s what she told herself—until two very different people slipped past her defenses.

Broken Legacy is the 3rd book in The Notorious Legacy Series by Sophie Dyer.
Sophie has managed to do it again, and man do I wish I knew how she did it. So far, I think this is my favorite book out of the entire series. Sophie has written this stunning dynamic between Gracie/Thea/Cillian and the three of them became everything to me and even now I can’t stop thinking about the three of them. And as I am slowly falling in love with the True Crime genre, I couldn’t help but gobble up this entire book. And then there was THAT ENDING!?! Dang is that a hard one to take. I have to say that this is honestly going to be a hard wait for the next wait, I think I’m going to be sitting here on pins and needles waiting for it.
I am such a huge fan of Sophie’s writing style. It’s so descriptive and it’s never felt overly academic or to drawn out. I really loved that we got to read the POV’s of the previous books but we get to see it from the perspective of the current characters. And honestly, I really feel like this adds so much depth and dimension to the series as a whole and more than that it adds depth and dimension to the storyline.
What Sophie did in this book is so impossibly difficult to pull off and yet Sophie managed to pull it off flawlessly and managed to make it look easy. This is just so stunning and memorable.
If you are looking for a dark romance with a FFM Romance, age gap, loads of od trauma and this absolutely stunning healing journey then I can promise you that this is the book and the series that you’ve been searching for.
This is the third book in legacy series where each book is focused on different couple, but there is bigger plot line which goes through all books. Each book is very specific, which I like. The first one was focused on second chance romance, the second one was full of plot and less romance and this one was like healing journey among three people. I never read FF romance, so that was new for me and I loved Thea, she says she is broken, but according to me she was the strongest and the most mature of all them. Then we have our main male character who I wasn’t sure how he will fit to FF relationship. It was nicely written, but I still feel like he was the third wheel in their relatinship and sometimes it felt forced, sometimes it was very natural. Chemistry between him and Gracie was great, chemistry between Thea and Gracie wooow off charts, but chemistry between Thea and Kill felt mostly weird, I don’t know why but it did for me. I didn’t believe they fell in love with each other eventhoug they said so. I loved the ending though where everything came to nice conclusion between three od them. Then we have cliffhanger which I expected and now I am really excited to read the fourth book once it’s written. Will it be about Haldon or his sister? Was it Kai, the guy who was tortured in the next container or someone else? Who is the girl? So many questions need to be answered and I am ready for it😃
What confused me is why sometimes it is Killan sometimes it is Cillian v C???🤷♀️ is it purpose or mistake?
If like darker romance, with FFM relationship, age gap, lots od trauma and healing journey then this book is definitely for you😊

⭐️ARC REVIEW⭐️ Broken Legacy by @the_notoriouswriter 5 ⭐ / 3.5🔥🌶
I never thought I would be one to love dark mafia storires… but the wickedly dark world that @the_notoriouswriter has created is beyond and fantasy I have fallen for before.
Sophie has this ability to describe things so it feels like you’re a fly on the wall in the room. The vivid details the strong emotions its all there.
This entire series just keeps getting better! I have been obsessed with Gracie since her involvement in Precious Legacy and her story was nothing short of amazing. The dynamic between her and Thea and then Cillian is just so hot. I’ve read plenty of why choose MFM books but this was my first why choose FMF and it did not disappoint. The chemistry between Gracie and Cillian is undeniable.
Sophie is one of my favorite authors who has that writing process and its a special process only she can deliver, she writes stories that pull you in and bring all the emotions and will leave you dying to read one more page even when you know you shouldn’t. Gracie, Thea and Cillian are above bar and their story is definitely one where you need to trust Sophie’s process. Because it is 100% worth it.
I highly recommend this book as well as those previously in the series. Add them to your TBR today.
Gracie the tattoo artist and hacker, best friends with Theodora, owner of coffee shop. Years of building a friendship until one night then they kiss. Gracie becomes freaked out, not by her kissing a girl, but because she liked it and started to struggle with herself and what it meant. Struggling with her feeling towards Thea and the man she shouldn’t, Cillain, the very older enforcer for the family.
Giving into her feelings towards Thea, after confessing to Kill and him shutting her down, they start a relationship, coming closer than ever, sharing a lot of firsts together. Gracie steps into her sexuality full force and doesn’t regret it. Still feeling the pull towards Kill, Thea allows them to explore, not expecting the feelings she starts to have.
Gracie becomes kidnapped after digging too deep in things she’s told to keep out of. Which brings Thea And Kill closer together. Both beating themselves up over it. After being rescued, Gracie comes with a lot of survivors guilt.
Now what a rollercoaster of emotions this book took me on. From laughing one minute to crying to my heart completely breaking. Gracie’s and Thea’s relationship grew so much stronger and I loved that. Together they are spicyyyy. Then add in Kill and oh my, cold shower needed. I knew Kill was older, but I was not expecting him to be that much older, but I loved it, he became even more forbidden fruit. Another book that takes you on emotional ride.

This is the 3rd book in the Notorius Legacy Series. This is Gracie, Thea and Cillain's story and i really enjoyed it.
We have Gracie, our cool and edgy fmc. She has been through so much but has found peace in her life especially with the family that has been created. Thea is our dominant yet patient fmc. She is Gracie's best friend and has only truly let Gracie in. But, she has a secret. Cillian, he is our big and broody mmc, who is a bit grumpy, Roman's uncle and is obsessed with Gracie. I actually love him though.
The plot was really good. Gracie and Thea are living their lives and just when things are calm, Gracie does something out of the ordinary, she kisses Thea, her bestie and she is so confused about. To top it off, Gracie has these hidden feelings for Cillian and just doesn't know what to do about it. Things take an unexpected turn and we do go on a bit of a rollercoaster ride so buckle up for what's to come. I loved how the relationship evolved and blossomed into something so beautiful.
The ending was very interesting 🤔🤔🤔
Thank you Sophie and your lovely team for the opportunity to read this story. I am forever grateful 🙏

Sophie has done it again. This has to be my favorite book in the series now. The dynamics of Gracie/Thea/Cillian is everything for me. The plot of the series in general is getting more intense. My true crime fan heart is eating it up. That ENDING though?!? Oof. It is going to be rough waiting for the next book.
The writing is great. Descriptive without feeling too analytical and drawn out. I, personally, LOVE reading the POV's of the previous books from the current books characters perspectives. As a collective, I feel like it adds so much depth and dimension to the entire series & storyline. It is so difficult to pull off and yet Sophie is rocking it. There were a few spelling errors but no points off since I know she usually catches them before release, plus its only human to make errors so they are expected.
I wish I was creative enough to make graphics and stuff but I hope my review is enough in lieu of that. I fell in love with this series after I read the Precious Legacy. I am now stuck as I stick out this ride to the end!
I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. We are back with the notorious five’s legacy. This book gives readers another view of a storyline that they know well if they read the previous books in this series. I always love a series that flows concurrently with the previous books. This allows readers to explore things that we did not know was happening at that time. Gracie Lucchase, like Alanis, has been kept out of the business. Gracie is also a tattoo artist. Though Gracie is kept out of the business, people still look out for her. Gracie’s personal bodyguard is Cillian O’Sullivan. Cillian utilizes Gracie for her computer skills. Though Cillian is more than double the age of Gracie, something is growing between them.
Gracie’s best friend, Thea, owns a cafe. Their relationship takes a turn neither one anticipated. Is Gracie willing to risk their friendship for something more? Gracie is being torn in two. She wants Thea, but she also wants Cillian. Can she have both? This book gives readers another possible love triangle. Of course, that’s not all. Gracie finds something that she refuses to let go of. Can Cillian protect Gracie from herself? Once she gets involved, Gracie is determined to see this through. Will Gracie finally be involved in the family business?
You won't realise it's happening until it's too late. Sophie Dyer will very quietly and, without warning, have you fully invested in the world of the Notorious Legacy and all its characters. You can't escape it, so don't even try.
Book 3 takes you deeper into this world, from the pov of Thea, Gracie, and Cillian, sharing their experiences and once again propelling the story forward (with lots of drama along the way).
Amongst all the turmoil in the mafia vs. bratva world, Gracie and Thea find themselves in a thruple with Cillian, despite the age gap and the fact that Gracie is Cillian's friends daughter. It's all kinds of wrong, but ...
I'm guessing book 4 may uncover what happened to Kai. We had huge clues in this book but, so far, he's still missing. I hope the wait to see what happens next isn't a long one, I'm well and truly invested and need to know.
An ARC was provided in return for review, which is freely given. This book, and the whole series) deserves a place in your tbr pile! It's a great read.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I’m leaving this review voluntarily.
I don’t usually give 3 stars, but this book just wasn’t fully for me. I’ve been searching for a good FFM dark romance—especially one with a mafia vibe—and since there aren’t many out there, I was excited for this. The premise had a lot of potential, but I feel like the relationship between the three characters could have been explored more deeply.
For me, it read more like Thea-and-Grace and Cillian-and-Grace, while the dynamic between Thea and Cillian, and the three of them together, didn’t feel as developed or emotionally layered as I hoped. Their connection could have been introduced much earlier and given more intensity.
That said, the book was still enjoyable overall, and the age-gap element was done really well. Maybe I’m feeling this way because it’s been a long time since I’ve read a reverse harem, but I was hoping for a bit more depth in the triad dynamic.
“Healing doesn’t demand perfection. It only requires presence.”
I have a lot of feelings about this story, and I'm honestly having a hard time putting everything into words.
I've loved Gracie sine Delicate Consequences, and she feels almost like a little sister to me. So believe me when I say that I absolutely loved seeing her get the hea she deserves. I really enjoyed Gracie's journey of healing and self-discovery and how all three of them came together.
I will say that the overlapping timeline with the previous books in the series made the story feel like it was dragging a bit at times. Nonetheless, the story is action packed and I loved Gracie's fearlessness, and Cillian's protectiveness over both girls.
Quote: “I’ve been falling for her for years. That much I’ve always known. But somewhere along the line... I started falling for you too. And the thought of losing either of you scared the hell out of me.”
This book surpassed my expectations, the synopsis sounded great and I hadn’t read any of the authors previous books but I was hooked from page 1.
The pace of both the plot and the relationships is spot on. Nothing felt rushed or done without fitting into the bigger picture. The tension between the 3 MC’s is engaging and filled with the right amount of tension. And that tension is 🔥🔥
Thea is my fav character of the three, I love her dominant personality. From the way she interacts with Gracie & Kill to how her love for Gracie start, which is honest and open.
I will be purchasing the other books in this series, the author has me hooked! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Part of the 5 series Gracie owns her own tattoo shop her father will stepfather is part of the five he married her mother after she was abducted by her father and Max killed him since then she’s been treated like his own Gracie has strong feelings for Callin Callian is 20 years older then Gracie but that doesn’t stop the sexual attraction or the connection they both have, but he knows he can’t take it further Thea is Gracie best friend and she has feelings for her then one day they both take things forward into a relationship but Callin is jealous because he wants her too This book was full of twists and turns and ends on a cliffhanger 🤦🏻♀️
Gotta admit, didn’t go into this one with as much enthusiasm as I usually do for Sophie’s book because I’m not a huge reader of FF. BUT . . . OH MY GOSH, did this blow me away. The story enveloped me like a big, weighted blanket, and I just read and read this book. When I reached the end, I wanted more of the three of them. Cillian, I’ve wanted his story for sooo long. And this author more than delivered. He’s broken, he’s smezy, and he’s perfect for not just Gracie but for Thea as well!
I can’t say enough about how great this book was. It will live in my heart for a long time and is definitely one of my top reads of 2025.
Whoa. I wasn’t ready. I read the books out of order due to timelines but wow. I didn’t expect this to be as tasteful as it was. No jealousy just common love for one person. The extras are just right. Basically, you have to read it for yourself because the action level is really high. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. The next book picks up where this one left off. It’s not out yet but I am going back to the second book now. I need to know what happened in book two so I can be ready for book four. Read this book after one and two so you know who everyone is. Enjoy!
Absolutely one of my favorite of the year. I love a steamy drama filled love triangle. Gracie is in the middle of possibly best two characters ever. Thea is a badass woman who so beyond caring but also knows what’s she’s wants and isn’t afraid to admit it. Cillian is an older man who is the complete opposite afraid to show how he feels from years of mafia work. He’s always the protector but doesn’t know how to protect his own heart. Then we have Gracie whose is stuck between what her mind says and her heart wants. This book takes on a HOT rollercoaster all the way to the end and I can’t wait for the next book!
This was a nice addition to the series. I went in blind this time, not reading the synopsis because I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the series so far so was confident I’d enjoy it. And I was pleasantly surprised to watch it all unfold. There was some crossover with the other characters that was a touch confusing, because it’d been a while since I read the last one, but it didn’t take away from anything. This one felt slightly more rushed than the previous books but I can’t pinpoint exactly why. But regardless, the series as a whole has been really enjoyable so far and this was a great addition.
Received the ARC and wanted to leave this review. This book, definitely pushed me outside my confort zone. Is a beautifully written story about love, acceptance and healing while it gives action, spice and kink! That was a twist for me, I didn’t expect it to have bdsm but the author crafted it interesting. Expect inclusiveness and diversity, a lot of steam and non-traditional HEA.
This second generation of The Notorious Five brings a new twisted mafia drama. Could be read as a standalone but I greatly suggest to read in order so you do not feel lost with the characters.
I haven't read a RH novel in a long time, and when I have, it's usually been MMF novels, so I was really excited about this storyline. And I love the mafia genre, which is why the tropes of this book intrigued me. Unfortunately, not all my expectations were met. The story definitely has potential, but I felt the connection between all three characters was lacking. You can sense good chemistry between Thea and Gracie, and also between Cillian and Gracie, but not between all of them together.
I enjoyed reading Gracie's POV, but I was surprised how her arc turned out. I did not understand much why is it mentioned Thea is Puerto Rican because she never said or did something which would make her a boricua. She could have been from Alaska and it would not have made any difference. And as for Cillian, I have a thing for him and I'm happy he had his HEA after all.
Expect bi awakening, sexual exploration, poly love, spice FF and FFM scenes, bdsm and kinks.
The push and pull, the emotions, right and wrong; it is all here in this one! We saw Gracie a little in the other stories. This one is all about Gracie and her feelings and relationships with Thea and Cillian. It was an interesting ride. You don’t want to miss this one.
I enjoyed the characters and their dynamic together. The twists and turns in the story keep you turning the pages. The ending leaves you ready for the next book now! Can’t wait to see what happens next!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I haven’t read anything from this author before but I was very pleasantly surprised I like their writing style and the plot. It would probably make more sense to have read the other books of the series but I could still enjoy the book and the characters are very well developed. My favourite was by far Thea but everyone had good and bad moments.
Number Three in the Legacy series following Gracie, Thea and Cillian.
This is a hard one for me to review, as sapphic romance isn't a trope that i like, but i pushed though and excluding that it was a great read with a fantastic plot, lots of chemistry, drama and spice.
The dynamic is great between the three and that first night all together wow 👌, and watch out this book is a rollercoaster of emotions.
I just love this wickedly dark world Sophie Dyer has created! Broken Legacy is another fantastic addition. Her ability to describe things so it feels like you're there is wonderful!! This one definitely had me feeling some things, it was heavy but I ate it up. I love Cillian and Gracie's dynamic, the little digs, sarcastic humor, and obvious affection is right up my alley. Bravo, and can not wait for the next one!!!!
Sophie !!!! You did it again girl!!! The push and pull between right and wrong. The angst , the spice (( not a lot but just enough when the spice happens )) the ROLLERCOASTER of emotions in this book!!!!! I couldn’t put it down!!!!! The CLIFFHANGER!!!!!! I need the next book now !!! As always Sophie knocked it put the park again!!!!
Broken Legacy is book 3 in The Notorious Legacy series. This one is Gracie, Thea and Cillian's story. It's an intense, intriguing, emotional, engaging story that quickly pulls you in. There's lots of drama, surprises, twists, turns and chaos that keeps you completely glued to the pages from beginning to end. And that ending......
This story is book 3 in the Notorious Legacy series and focuses on Gracie, Thea, and Cillian. It’s an intense and emotional read that pulls you in quickly and keeps the pace high. There’s plenty of drama, twists, and unexpected moments that make it hard to put down, and the chaos throughout the story keeps things engaging.
WOW!!! This is everything and more! This series continues to spoil us! Each character bringing more and more into the interconnected series. Each plot thickening and becoming everything and more! Can’t wait for book 4! The awakening was everything. The tropes all fit perfectly with the plot and the story. The broken souls fitting together in every way!
I liked this! It's Gracie's story & it was a great one. She's been friends with Thea for a long time & feelings changed. Cillian is a lot older than both of them & has reservations. There's a lot that happens here & it was awesome seeing them work together. I'm so happy she got her HEA! Recommend this book & author!
