Double the Fun!!!

I was gifted this book by the author Kate Kent for an honest review.

This second part is so full of passion, Beverly, Dave and Todd finally have their ménage and the sparks are flying!

Dave is really dead set on making this trio work and so is Beverly, I mean how awesome is having 2 hot lovers? And Todd really likes the idea, although he's also new to it.

In the meantime, Beverly is getting real bad vibes from 2 girls at school, is she being paranoid, or are they members of WHO (Werewolf Haters Organization) looking to grab her..

Can't wait to read the next part of this series and find out what these girls really want. Can't wait to find out if this trio can make it work.

I said it when I read Ms. Kent's first book in the Craving the Alpha series that she was a new paranormal writer that showed promise of getting better with each story she wrote and I wasn't wrong. Ms. Kent has surpassed my expectations!

Beverly, Todd and Dave are friends with a similar secret. They are werewolves. Having been turned against their will at camp last summer, all three are just trying to go on with their lives, blending into society. Bev and Dave are romantically involved but things get a little more interesting when Dave suggests that Todd join them in their relationship, both emotionally and physically. For Bev, the idea is more than exciting.

Their first encounter as a threesome had Bev hooked and she becomes more than comfortable with the idea of two very hot werewolves taking care of her needs. But when the reality of their lives comes crashing back into view, Bev gets heartbroken over Dave’s sour attitude and Todd’s flirtatious ways with another woman. She gets a good glimpse into Dave’s life and living the new lifestyle when they visit Dave’s parents.

To add to the stress, there is the constant threat from groups who are against shifters in their community. The unrest is hitting very close to home and more people begin to suspect they are different. Bev fears for their safety and that of their friends.

This was another quick read, picking up right where the first book left it at. I was rewarded with finally getting to hear how the trio continued on with their first sexual encounter. The scene was hot and exciting! I could feel the emotions Bev was dealing with when faced with the situation. And definitely could sympathize with the emotions and thoughts she had in the aftermath.

Adding some drama and suspense, the author again brings us closer to the danger lurking in the community for Bev and her friends. Shifters are continuing to get abducted and assaulted, banned from local establishments and protested against. Another cliff hanger is revealed in the last chapter as the story ends with Bev running for her life from the academic building at her college. I was happy the author brought back in some of the drama from the first book and can’t wait to see what happens when Bev finally gets to talk to Todd about her feelings. I am definitely feeling the story continues to get better as it goes on. I’m patiently waiting for part three!

WOWZA! I love it! What a wonderful and exciting follow up of Ms. Kent's Craving the Alpha Series. Kent has really kicked up the heat in this second installment of her new Taming the Alphas Series! Somebody call 911 cause it's sizzling hot! Exciting! Well Written! Smart! Compelling! Captivating! Addictive! Enticing! Arousing! Sexy! Steamy! And did I mention Hot! Oh yeah! The characters are intriguing and familiar, since they were first introduced as secondary characters in the Craving the Alpha Series. And I was so happy to see them have their own series! From the original series, Craving the Alpha, we learn that Beverly and Todd, both college students, spent their summer as counselors at a children's camp. Just as they were ready to return to school, they were attacked by a vicious and scrupulous pack of werewolves. Fortunately, they were rescued by another group of werewolves and taken to their home at Camp Vickers to recover and transition into their new lives as werewolves. Beverly meets sexy alpha Dave, a natural born wolf, while at Vickers and Dave chooses Beverly as his mate. So when the government offers Beverly the opportunity to return to college, Dave decides to go with her and continue their relationship. Todd also decides to return to college where he rekindles his friendship with Dave and Beverly and the sparks really begin to fly between the three. But trying to reassimilate back into society proves to be difficult and challenging for all three. And made even more difficult by WHO, the Werewolf Haters Organization, and the government offers little to no help at all. The story is well developed, imaginative and flows beautifully. The dialog is smart, witty and sassy. Two handsome,sexy alpha wolf shifters-check! Beautiful, newly turned female wolf shifter-check! Suspense, romance and steamy sex-check,check and triple check! Oh, and did I mention a red hot ménage trois? Yeah baby! Buckle up! We're in for another wild ride! I can hardly wait for the next installment of this series!

This series just keeps on getting better the second book picks up right where book one ended. Who would've thought that Dave was going to propose a threesome its was all ready bad that Beverly was starting to question her feelings and relationship towards Dave. The three of them still have a lot of work to do in order to make this relationship work. But with all the suspense going on with the government cover-up do they really want to help them out or is the situation going to get worse with the WHO group running rampant getting the townsfolk all hyped up. Plus who are those girls?? What do they want with Beverly??? I can't make out if it's good or bad just yet. I can't for book 3 to find out what's going to happen next.

With people protesting still going strong against shifters Beverly, Dave and others are concerned into taking more precautions not to be recognized as shifters. Dave is from a loving home and wants to have Todd join in his relationship with Beverly and she agrees until she caught Todd with another woman.

I love the characters that the author writes for this book and series because their interaction feels so real. The story line flow is smooth in this part as I expected it would be.

This is for any mature paranormal romance book lover.

Can two be better than one?
Dave and Beverly have been a couple for a while now and there have been times when Bev has lusted for Todd. But for Todd to suggest the three play together has her very unsure of things. Plus with the WHO (Werewolf Haters Organization) still protesting, life is a little unsettled. Is the college campus safe? And the government still hasn't come clean like they promised to help the werewolf’s assimilate into society. This is a real hot section of the series. Well written and enjoyable to read.

At first I was a bit lost as I did not read book 1 and book 2 right after each other. It took me a bit of reading in book 2 to pick up and remember what exactly was going on and even then I don't remember there being any mention of a relationship of this nature anywhere involving them. I enjoy the flow of where the story is going with their relationship. I do not like the anit-werewolf group and I am not thrilled with how book 2 ended I do not enjoy cliffhangers when the next book is not already released I am an instant gratification kind of person and not well known for my patience. Book 2 pics up where book 1 finished. Here Dave, Todd and Beverly are on a brink of making a decision that will change their life. Can they make it work as a three some? This story concentrates more on their feelings for each other and evaluating their commitments. Beverly is torn between her two men.
There is not much of a suspence in this story and I missed it but again it ended on a cliffhanger (Kate Kent is becoming the Queen of cliffhangers :-) ) and I can't wait to see what book 3 brings. Well done.

Wow Dave just thru Beverly quite the curve ball. He's open to a ménage in fact he really wants one. He's familiar with it and thinks Todd would be a perfect third. Beverly is attracted to both Dave and Todd but she didn't expect Dave to suggest a Triad relationship.
This installment follows the growing relationship, insecurities and chemistry between the three of them.

And what's up with the giggle girls, are they part of the WHO?
I'm looking forward to the next installment and to see where Kate is going to take us next. I received an ARC for my honest review.
