Elizabeth Bennet, also known, variously, as "Miss Lizzy," the "Angel of Longbourn," "Bennet Bethel," and "A Lady," worked hard to create a safe place to go whenever her mother's negativity and her father's indolence got her down. Now that she was banished from Longbourn, of course she fled to that safe place.
Fitzwilliam Darcy finally decided to court Miss Elizabeth - if she would accept his attentions - but he immediately discovered it would not be so easy to ascertain whether or not Elizabeth would welcome his calls, because nobody seemed to know where she was!
As for George Wickham...well Wickham's going to Wickham, isn't he?
I read this after a recommendation from another author and do not regret it! This was a very different P&P variation and a great story. It was lovely seeing the bond between Elizabeth and Mary, and seeing that Elizabeth was open to changing her opinions.
This Mr and Mrs Bennet were not likable, and Jane showed herself as living up to Darcy’s impression.
But there was a beautiful love story of Elizabeth and Darcy, and some adventures along the way.
A pride and prejudice variation where Elizabeth is banished from Longbourn for refusing Collins and ordered to stay with her Aunt Phillips. But Elizabeth goes to live in her secret cottage, only known to Mary. Will Darcy be able to find her. An entertaining and well-written story
Warning: Meant for mature audiences. Contains scenes that would scandalize the ton. Readers of a delicate constitution are advised to keep their fans and vinaigrettes close at hand.
It was so enticing that I couldn’t put it down, this book grabbed my interest from the very first page. I couldn’t put it down, I had to know what happened next. The story is well written with a very good storyline. You will see the most beloved characters in a whole new way. This is a Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice variation.

A most satisfying story! The relationship between Elizabeth, Darcy and Mary is portrayed with warmth. The Bennet parents are cruel and careless, Jane is disappointing, and true love conquers all.
What a lovely story. I loved how the characters make the story flow. I am so happy Mary and Elizabeth support one another. The others are so shallow compared to Lizzy and Mary.
A witty, humorous, fairly low angst story, in which Lizzy and Darcy court at the idyllic Blackthorne Cottage. But all Edens have their villains, and the cottage is no exception. I really liked that Lizzy rescued herself—well mostly.
