Taking Flight From the Empty Nest by Mary Jenson, spoke to my heart so many times. I felt the emotions in the writing deep in my heart, the place where "put away pain" resides. It crept out of it's hiding place and flooded my soul, my eyes, my cheeks, with tears from the past. I had locked them away with the baby blankets, school awards, and prom pictures. In order to allow this book to help me to heal, I first had to let it stir up the sediments in my drink called life and then allow it to drench me in memories wonderful and hurtful.

Like sharing with a friend so much of what I've experienced in the last couple of years. Thanks, Mary.
