Alaska Firestorm: Opposites Attract Workplace Romance

Rate this book
Some fires can't be contained while some rules are meant to be broken. When Anchorage is threatened, heroes are forged in flame. Veteran air tanker pilot Ripley Beecher has one drop slurry on wildfires, save lives, stay alive. Simple… until she's forced to partner with Tanner Westlake— a scorching hot incident commander as infuriating as he is irresistible.
Their chemistry? Explosive.
Their partnership? Against every rule.
Their timing? Couldn't be worse.

While Ripley and Tanner fight their undeniable attraction, someone else is using fire as a weapon. A twisted arsonist is turning Alaska's deadliest wildfire season into a hunting ground, and now the city of Anchorage is the ultimate target.
When the attacks escalate and Ripley's aircraft becomes a bullseye, the game turns personal. Suddenly, it's not just about saving the city. It's about survival. It's about trust. It's about two people who've spent their lives following orders discovering that sometimes the only way to win is to break every rule that matters.
In a world where one wrong move can end a firefighter’s life... falling in love could be the most dangerous risk of all. Racing against time and arsonists who won't stop until Anchorage burns, Ripley and Tanner must play it safe and lose everything, or risk it all for a love that could either save them—or destroy them both. When fire is your enemy and passion is your weakness, the only way out is through the flames.

“The strong sexy women and smoking hot men who fight fires are written by a lady who knows from personal experience. A fiery page-turning read.” Kat Martin, New York Times bestselling author
“This series is cinematically plotted in spectacular, dangerous settings with a smoldering passion where fire isn’t the only heat!” Cherry Adair, New York Times bestselling author

Flying Fast and Free

This book changes scenes between the ground crews to a pilot of a tanker plane fighting wildland fires. It is a unique perspective from the previous series books, and the technical parts are executed quite accurately in my judgement.

Well written, and a good mix of Adventure and Romance genres. This author nailed it yet again.

Great ending to the series. it reminded me so much of the fire fighting for the Dragon Bravo fire that took the North Rim Grand Canyon Lodge in 2025. Just sad of tge destruction that fires create
