After a frightening, nearly unsuccessful bout of online dating, Loren Tena finally found the guy she'd been searching for. Nolan was the epitome of her idea of perfection. Loren's used to waiting for the other shoe to drop, and in this case, it came knocking on her door.
Face to face with her past, Loren has to decide which path to take: The one she'd already been down and failed or the new, exciting one leading her into the arms of her perfect cowboy.
Claim Volume Two should be read following Volume One. The final installment, Volume Three, will be released in February 2015.
Ashley Suzanne has been writing as long as she can remember. As a youngster, she was always creating stories and talking to her imaginary friends. Thankfully, her parents also carried this love of fiction, and helped her grow into the writer she is today.
Ashley is a bestselling author and spends equal amounts of time writing and reading. Being the true book whore she is, Ashley would rather dive into a good book before going out of her house. Giving up her career in Real Estate, Ashley has officially moved to hermit status.
When Ashley isn't coming up with her next story, you'll most likely find her on the couch with a kindle in her hand (probably watching some crappy reality show while , annoying her husband by telling him all about her new book boyfriend or spending quality time with her two gremlins ... Sorry, I mean adorable children.
Nolan and Loren are having a good time getting to know each other... instill Loren's past comes back. Her husband Jordan left a year ago and is now back for her. She still loves him but like Nolan too.
Nolan really likes Loren. When she finally tells him about her past, he tells her to do what she's gotta do. What he wasn't expecting? A call about his past... one that has his mind being blown.
Once again, I am left hanging wondering what in the Heck is going to happen! I cannot wait to read the next book. I need it now!!
In this installment, we learn about Jordan. He was really a nonentity in book one. Slowly he is now working his way back deeper into the fold. I'm not sure exactly how I feel about him yet.
Nolan still seems quite perfect. He does nothing out of character for how he's been. Seems he's a great person, and a great person to know.
Nolan's ex also comes back into the picture, but it's a totally different situation than that of Loren and Jordan. I think this is going to end up just further proving what a great guy Nolan is.
Things I didn't like as much this go around were as follows: I didn't feel the connection with Loren that I felt the first go around. I still like her oodles better than many female leads, but last time she was my girl. Something just felt a little off this time. I also wasn't crazy about how quickly she seems to welcome Jordan back. Jordan...I just don't know how believable his reason for leaving is. Kinda sounds like BS to me. The storyline was perhaps a bit too rushed.
I also had several things I liked. I super appreciate that their wasn't a bunch of going behind each other's backs, lies and misunderstandings. It's wonderful for characters to just come out and be honest. Loren and Nolan have that. There is definitely something to be said for behaving maturely. I think it's cool that a character that was assumed forgotten in book one came back reinvented. Seeing more from other secondary characters was nice too.
The way that the story ends really makes me want the next book to find out the fate of this cast, and I will definitely be reading the next installment.
When I read 'Claim Volume One' the cliffhanger surprised me, I know 'volume one' should maybe have given it away but.... I then assumed, wrongly, that it was only in two parts whereas it is in fact a trilogy. This cliffhanger surprised me as well and I know I'm sounding like an idiot but I never read the synopsis I was so happy to see this book was out I never bothered I just started reading. As you know from the last book Loren is married, her husband Jordan disappeared not long after they were married and now he turns up completely out of the blue a year later just when Loren has finally started to move on with her life. She's just met Nolan who is the perfect man, really he is and while he has his own baggage it's not quite as current as Loren's. Which way will Loren go, her first real love or the man who seems to be made for her? This book was so frustrating, I hated that Loren still had feelings for Jordan and she was drawn to him, I didn't want to like him either because Nolan is perfect but even I felt myself softening towards Jordan at times and I didn't like it. Nolan, I really, really want Loren for him and I can't see that I'll be happy with any other ending but if you'd told me at the end of the last book that I'd start to like Jordan I would have told you you were crazy. I can't see how this series can end well, someone has to get their heart broken and after the way this ended I'm not convinced I'm going to like the next book. The final book in this trilogy is due out in February 2015.
WARNING this review contains spoilers from book 1!!!
Loren meets a guy online after being persuaded by a friend to sign up for a dating site. After meeting him, she decides she likes him quite a bit. He makes her happy and he’s just so sweet. Her and Nolan have a real chance at an amazing relationship. At the end of book one, we find out that Loren is married. She doesn’t want to be, her husband just refuses to sign the divorce papers. He left her a year ago and she hasn’t heard a word from her since. Surprise surprise, he’s back! In book two, we watch as Loren is faced with the question of going back to her husband or trying something new. There’s pros for both options. She’s slowly realizing why she married Jordan in the first place, but she’s starting to think that she deserves to find someone new. I love Ashley Suzanne. She’s an excellent writer and always throws a curve ball. It’s always when you least expect it and something you would never see coming. So of course, at the end of this book, you have a wtf moment. I think this serial is different from what Ashley normally writes, and it definitely works for her. It’s more laid back and subtly sexy rather than a wild ride full of sex. Ashley definitely can write anything. The books in this serial are quite short but definitely worth it. Once you start one, you have to keep going. Five stars for Ashley!
After the ending of Volume One I needed Volume Two ASAP! I absolutely loved how this book played out and can't wait for the third and final installment!
Loren just received the shock of a life time finding out Jordan has come back, and isn't giving up without a fight, but can she let him in with her newfound feelings for Nolan? I loved being able to read Jordan, Nolan, and Loren's points of view in this story, and I felt we got to know each of them a little better.
At first, I wasn't a huge fan of Jordan, but now? Now I really like him, and am hoping things work out for him and Loren. I know, I love Nolan too, but I just feel as if Loren and Jordan are meant to be together. Volume Two provided us with some answers, but also left us with even more questions. I love Ashley Suzanne's writing and how she draws the reader in and you really connect with the characters.
I really cannot wait for the third volume of this serials set to come out, to find out who Loren chooses and how everything plays out. I truly love these characters and can't wait for more!
The second installment of this serial picked up right where the first one left off...Jordan is back and the gloves are coming off in the fight for his woman. Only problem is, Nolan doesn't know there is a fight to be had. Loren eventually comes clean to him about whats going on and Nolan's reaction is what you would expect of him. He is shocked, confused but decides hes in it. That is until someone from his past comes calling.
To say I was shocked with that twist is an understatement! Of course, there is a little humor brought into the drama at the hands of Cleo, Loren's best friend. The relationship they share is truly special and reminds me of the way I am with my best friend. This serial is different and refreshing and I have no clue where Ashley Suzanne is going to take me in the next installation. There is so much happening in this volume that I can't wait to see how she is going to wrap this story up.
OK so we meet Jordan and I must say me personally I don't like him. He automatically thinks he deserves her back no and his story about that bs nope. And her questioning her self of what to do. Hello he walked away I can only imagine how many women he slept with. Arggggg not a fan of Jordan at all lol But Nolan ahhhhhhhh he is freaking amazing I love everything about him there is no question who I would choose. And look what he's doing such an awesome man he is the type that puts his needs aside for others if this girl was smart she would tell Jordan kiss off and stand by and support Nolan. Especially for what he is doing even if he does try to push her away. OK I need more please!!!!!!
Claim Volume one ended with Jordan's return. He is Loren's husband. I hated him for leaving Loren, not a single word for almost a year and then he waltzes in and expects to pick up where they left off. I also hated that Loren would even give him the time of day. Loren is still seeing Nolan; he's still perfect...swoon-worthy in fact! Then enter in Nolan's ex wife and things get complicated fast!! Will Loren ever find her HEA and if so who will it be with?
I loved this second part of the serial! It does end abruptly and with a major cliffhanger; which left me with questions and wanting more. I can't wait to read Volume 3!
Couldn't wait to continue the story of Loren, Nolan, and Jordan. Loren continues to have feelings toward Nolan but is confused by Jordan coming back. Nolan gets news about his past that he never expected. Ugh! Why do these characters have to be so complicated? I felt torn who to route for. Nolan? Jordan? And yet again Ashley is great at leaving us hanging to see the end of this story! 5 more stars!
I thought part one was good, part two is even better and I cannot wait to read the third. It moved along at a fantastic pace, has characters that I cannot get enough of and need more of and a story that will not let you down. From the moment you start reading, you will want to see what is going to happen. This is a must read.
I like the different POVs between the characters. I will say Jordan's reason for leaving Loren were kinda weak and cowardly. There really was no scandal there. But I definitely feel the chemistry between Jordan and Loren a lot more strongly than between Loren and Nolan.
I can't decided I'm so torn with who I want Jordan or Nolan how about them both? Loren is put in the position to have to choose between them both and she just can't decided. Both personalities of the guys come out in this book and it will leave you torn for who you like more.
Vol. I, II en III als één boek gelezen. Nice read; mooie lovestory... alleen wat mij betreft te soft en te zoet. Maar boeiend genoeg om alle delen te lezen, mede omdat ieder deel maar net 100 blz was. Leuk luchtig tussendoortje.
Ahhhhhh I need book 3 already. Absolutely love Nolan and my heart is just breaking I can't wait until I learn more as to where this series is heading. This is the first series I have read of Ashley Suzanne's and I can say I will be definitely reading more (less)
Nolan and Loren are facing some obstacles in their relationship. And once again Ashley Suzanne leaves us begging for more! I can't wait to find out what happens in volume three!
Ashley Suzanne! You keep me wanting more!!! This is such a great story! I love Loren and fee like she is so confused and torn as to what to do !!! Patiently waiting for the next installment !!!
I love the triangle between Loren, Nolan, and Jordan. Although if I were Loren hands down I would be picking Nolan. Can't wait to see what Claim 3 has in store for us and who Loren ends up with!
