I came to the West Texas chapter of the Kings of Anarchy as a young teen when my father joined the club and never left. He was originally hired to work on the ranch itself, which frequently left me to my own devices. A friendship between me and Rio developed which eventually included Issy and Gage, and after my dad died a few years later, I stayed on and prospected for the club, eventually rising through the ranks to become the Enforcer.
Life is pretty sweet; not only do I get to ride the horses I’ve come to love for their gentle, docile nature, but I come alive when my girl, Daisy, is rumbling between my thighs as my brothers and I ride the open roads near El Paso, Texas. I have a take-no-prisoners attitude I developed growing up thanks to my given name, which has kept myself and my brothers alive more times than I can count.
But everything changed the day I saw something on the side of the road while coming back from a rodeo, and when I found her, practically dead on her feet, my purpose in life changed. I’ll always, always protect my club president and my brothers, as well as those who work on the ranch, but now? Well, now, I’ll protect Livy as well. My first order of business? Find and eradicate the POS who thought he was entitled to break down a woman so badly that it takes months for her to see her worth. Because nobody messes with the Kings and lives to tell the tale.

BamBam & Olivia: triggers- domestic violence, kidnapping, assault, PTSD, suicide, child abuse, sexual assault.
. I honestly thought this book would be good but again it fell flat. these authors are really letting my state down because you can let your imagination go anywhere when Texas is involved but we wanna still center around ranches and rodeos. now this story coincides with Riptide's story as it happens almost at the same time and you know... ranches and rodeos. 🤦🏾♀️ we meet Olivia who's a DV victim on the run and BamBam who happens to see her running and decides to help. I give 5⭐ just for Olivia's fight and flight response. the antagonist might as well have not even be written in the story because despite the DV at the beginning, he was a non factor. the author gives no build to the eventual "conflict", there's no mystery, there's nothing that will have you biting your nails on the edge of your seat. outside of the very serious issue in the book, the romance is a very slow burn and a warm at that. don't expect to blush or fan yourself. one thing I don't like about this author is that she doesn't complete scenes, she jumps from one moment to the next without finishing a thought or transitioning to the next scene. it's something that drives me nuts. unfortunately since I wanted to read the KOA series, I'm stuck with having to endure. 🤷🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️

Beginning was good, but then it drags on and on.
This book started really well as Olivia is escaping from her abusive ex with her three month old baby. BamBam rescues her from the side of the road and takes her back to the mc’s ranch, but she isn’t allowed to stay there as she’s not an old lady. I didn’t like that. The ranch has workers that live there but Olivia’s not allowed to stay there? I think I need to take a break from these books as I’m finding them really boring. I really appreciate that the author didn’t rush Olivia’s recovery and she actually saw a therapist, but I really didn’t want to read her therapy sessions. I use reading as an escapism and reading about her therapy sessions isn’t that. I started skimming pages as it went on and on. There’s pages of a letter Olivia writes to her dead parents which I couldn’t read because of the font used. Then there’s pages of BamBam’s days going for a horse ride with Issy, endless church meetings, emptying the laundrette machines. OH THE EXCITEMENT!!! 🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱 They don’t even talk or see each other for a big chunk of the book!
There isn’t any romance, and only one boring s*x scene. Sorry but I didn’t enjoy it.

Good start to a new series featuring the one an only Darlene Tallman!
I love this new series KOAMC and when I found out my favorite author would be participating 'yay I knew Jesus had come to Texas! Or should I say some fun stories would be heating up my kindle. BamBam and Olivia super couple and of course Theo intro us into their world in W.Texas. Loved Rio's book one in this series. The characters are strong and we have a solid start. So, hope on and experience this five star must read. Peace out.

So good. BamBam and Olivia’s story was worth the wait. Livy’s story of domestic violence is heartbreaking and so real. Her escape is harrowing. But she made it out. And her unlikely and unexpected savior is BamBam and the Kings. They were meant to be. Despite what he looks like - a big, gruff biker - he is sweet and patient and kind. BamBam gives Livy everything she and Theo need to heal and move on from their tragic past. I’m loving this MC.

That was crazy the way they met cause of psycho ex asshole but with x and patience hopefully she will b in a much better place that she will bam bam a chance at a possible relationship. When her ex and his 2 friends show up in town shit will hit the fan but at least his friends had brains unlike him. But when shit hits the fan she's more prepared than b4 can she b braver than b4 or will she die cause of psycho ex? It was really good but intense in a few spots.

BamBam rocks
Another great KOA installment by the always great Darlene Tallman! BamBam is an enforcer & when he finds Livy on the side of the road, he’s all in. As she heals from her past trauma a really beautiful love story emerges. I love the patience & protectiveness he shows her. If you want a great MC book with a hot hero, spunky heroine & the sweetest little baby ever, this is the book that has to be on your TBR!

I couldn't put it down. From the minute BamBam laid eyes on Lift he knew she was ment to be his, but as her past comes to light he knows he must be patient with her and follow her lead. Livy has been through the ringer and back, but when it comes to her son she'll do everything in her power to protect him. Seeing Livy heal and more forward with BamBam warmed my heart and seeing him with Theo melted it. This was a great read.

Couldn't put it down!
Honestly, I started reading this book and kept reading until I reached the happily ever after ending. Livy is a strong courageous woman who escaped a terrible situation. And BamBam fell for her hard. They were perfect for each other. I loved this book and highly recommend it.

Great Story
Unlike so many books out today, this one had a real story. It wasn’t all about sex, sex, sex. The characters were so good, it is possible to believe they are real people. And, I liked all of them, except the bad guys. Thankfully, there weren’t many, and the good ones got plenty of time on the pages. I am looking forward to more books in this series.

I felt like the chemistry was lacking on this one, very very slow burn which I understood because Olivia has to work on herself after fleeing an abusive situation but the whole Bam Bam aspect came off fragmented. Bam Bam captivated me and the back story on Olivia is dark but just not as captivating as I hoped.

I only read 34% of the book, it had gotten so boring and tedious, that I was jumping over paragraphs. I just couldn’t focus on reading because it was so boring although the subject matter was a very interesting and made for a good story, it just got boring. I don’t know if it picks up later on in the book, but I can’t finish it.

Good read
This author puts out some good reads but they are not the heavy MC reads that I really enjoy. They definitely have their place as you need the easy reads sometime to keep the balance. Good storyline that kept it interesting and the characters as normal were charming and relatable.

Great book
Domestic violence and rape are triggers in this book for some and are hard to read about. Nothing is graphic and Livy is moved ng forward and facing her fears while taking care of her baby boy. BamBam is sexy and tough but caring and sweet as well. Loved it!!

Out of the Ashes
Olivia is at the end of her tether and escapes her abuser. BamBam finds her and spends his time and effort helping her and her baby. This story is so sweet, but there are some harrowing chapters, but a HEA is guaranteed. Loved it.

This book was so good! BamBam was so patient and loving helping Livy cope with her traumatic past! Love the slow burn. Love all the side characters and look forward to to the next book! Great read!

This story really struck a nerve. Being emotionally and mentally abused is hard to overcome. I loved how it showed the women get help and find resolution in their lives. Absolutely loved it

It was okay, kind of boring. Not a real connection between characters. I wish it had a little more depth. I don't know if I will continue the series.
