This felt like a book that wasn't written for someone with ADHD. I think I would have enjoyed it more had it been written for an adult ADHD audience rather than it feeling like a 101 book for non-adhd people. The information in there is good but it doesn't go into detail like I would have preferred.
Great quick read for someone wanting a brief overview or reminder about the impact of ADHD, tips for simple day to day success. A handy resource to share with family, friends, co workers, educators.
I have had ADHD since I was born, and was finally diagnosed at 13. As an adult ,I have chosen not to take medication for this illness because of the awful side effects. This read confirmed many of the symptoms I experience but did not explain much about the history or treatment options available.
This book has helped me so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I feel so much more hope again. I have ADHD and I don't have to be a victim of this disease!!!!
