THIS SERIES IS EVERYTHING.

Far out, Abbey and Ringo have destroyed me. Their final book is everything. Hurt, pain, trauma, healing and love. Their story has ripped my heart out and we finally have the conclusion and it is perfect.

I cannot even put into words how incredible Sarah JD is at creating worlds, and making you feel like you’re there, feeling everything, the good, the bad, the even worse than you ever imagined! Pulling some of the most gut wrenching emotions.
The storytelling is perfection, everything has purpose and nothing is rushed.

We wanted answers, and we got them, some won’t make us happy but bear with it, we needed this ending.

Favourite series of all time. Hands down. No notes.

Amazing

I couldn’t have been more emotionally wrecked than when I read this book. I have to say that you should start at the beginning of Abbey and Ringo’s story and every book was worth it. This author sure knows how to write a story that will put you through the wringer with how she writes her books by pulling deep emotions from me.

Ringo and Abbey’s story had a lot of twists and turns that had my head spinning and all of this together made this book a powerful story. Abbey stopped at nothing to find out about her daughter. I loved Abbey’s fierceness and the steam and chemistry between this couple was off the charts. This book and this series was one I highly recommend.

Abbey and Ringo’s story is one wild, intense, and wicked ride. From the very beginning, this series pulled me into the chaos and never let go until the final page. Filled with twists, heartbreak, drama, and undeniable passion, this journey was completely consuming and absolutely unforgettable.

Ringo and Abbey have had me in a chokehold since book one, and I highly recommend reading this series from the start to truly experience the emotional depth of their story. I won’t give spoilers, but be prepared for an intense rollercoaster packed with shocking twists, raw emotion, and moments that will leave you breathless.

This final installment picks up right where the last book left off, with emotions running high and stakes higher than ever. The tension, action, betrayal, and revenge kept me glued to every page. The plot twists genuinely shocked me — especially that betrayal — and I definitely screamed more than once! While the story came with heartbreaking losses that had me in tears, the ending felt absolutely perfect and deeply earned. Seeing Abbey and Ringo finally get their HEA made every emotional moment worth it.

Abbey’s growth throughout the series is incredible. Despite everything she has endured, she remains strong, compassionate, and fiercely determined. Ringo’s unwavering devotion and love for her made him one of my all-time favorite MMCs. Together, they complement each other perfectly — their relationship is raw, powerful, and beautifully imperfect.

Sarah JD’s writing truly shines here. The storytelling is immersive, emotional, and gripping, balancing dark themes with love, loyalty, and healing. The action kept me on edge, the spice was perfectly done, and the emotional depth hit hard in all the best ways.

As a dark motorcycle club romance, this series does explore heavy themes, so definitely check trigger warnings — but if you love dark MC romance with high stakes, intense emotion, and unforgettable characters, this is an absolute must-read. The fact that it’s set in Australia was the cherry on top for me!

This was a phenomenal conclusion that honored Abbey and Ringo’s journey beautifully. I laughed, cried, gasped, and honestly didn’t want it to end. One of the best series I’ve read — and the one that made me realize how much I love dark MC romance. Thanks Sarah JD for breaking my heart, ripping it out, stomping on it, then finally putting it back together!!

I need this ending after all the heart break and trauma that has gone on throughout Abbey’s life!!!

When the first book start Abbey needed someone to step in and save her and man did the right man step up!!! Ringo has been her savior at every turn. Except now Abbey has learned to save her damn self!!!

While Abbey has hardened herself she also still has all the love to give those who she cherishes!!! It’s not a long list but it’s growing!!! The way she loves so much and so hard is amazing with everything they have put her through. She will stop at nothing to get her baby back and punish those who took part in taking her little one.

Ringo I already turning over the city to find the love of is life’s baby. Now his baby too!!! He loves it already simply cause it’s hers. Swoon!!!

This would have to be my favourite series to date. Sarah has a way of drawing you into a world you thought you had no interest in and making you want to run away and join the closest MC! Abbey and Ringo had the odds stacked against them but still came out on top. I loved this from the very first chapter of the first book. Whilst I’m sad their story is concluded, it left me happy and proud of how far they came!

Sarah has done it again! I have loved every book in this series so much! It’s impossible not to devour each one.

As per usual, this book had me on the edge of my seat pretty much the whole way through! How is it possible to have so many unexpected plot twists this far into a series?! I love how we get a deeper understanding of more of the side characters in this one also, getting the tea we didn’t know we needed!

The spice in this book? When I tell you I was giggling and kicking my feet throughout 🫠 I just need Ringo to exist in real life PLEASE. How can someone so big and tough with the world be so calm and gentle to the one he loves? His relationship with Abbey is beautiful. She truly came out of her shell in this book and let me tell you, she is not to be messed with! A true Southern Sadist, just like Ringo and the team!

I would strongly advise to check the trigger warnings before reading this but if you don’t have an issue with any of them then you will LOVE this book.

Beautifully Savage is the 4th and final book in the secrets and scars series.

I have devoured and loved every release in this series. Abby and Ringo’s story was everything I didn’t know I needed. Sarah JD knocked this story right out of the park, and I couldn’t love it anymore than I did. It is truly a bittersweet moment saying goodbye to characters you have grown to love but hopefully this is not the last we see of them in the future.

Ringo fell hard for Abby when he first met her. They have both suffered loss in their lives. Ringo and Abby have developed an unbreakable bond and the love they shared for each other oozed off the pages. I could not get enough of these two.

Beautifully savage cannot be read as a standalone. The series must be read in order. I can’t recommend this series enough!

amazing series

Ah the end of a fabulous series. Going to miss Abbey and Cameron. Abbey has finished what started as a dismantling of a dark cult, involving her family mom grandfather it was horrible. There was quite a bit of unaliving in this final story but very deserved . There was tons of steam and Cam became head honcho of the mc which he so deserved he also cleaned out the bad seeds from the crew. There was a lot of things uncovered and revealed. The ending was everything I had hoped for. This was just a beautiful ending.

The end has come. We finally get to see if Abbey and Ringo get their happily ever after. We pick up right where we left off and see Abbey and Ringo with Daniel trying to see if Bobbi is really alive. Along the way we see that people that were trusted can’t be trusted anymore. Not only that they have been working behind the MCs back. This leaves the MC hanging in the balance as we know it. We get the final showdown between Barnes, Abbey’s mom and sister. I have been waiting for this book! I loved how it ended. It wrapped up all of the loose ends and was the ending that both Abbey and Ringo deserved. I am so sad to say good bye to these two!

I can now say that I’m depressed and in a book slump. Yep this series emotionally wrecked me. All the twist and turns. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Ringo and Abbey has persevered. Everything that they have been through has made them so much stronger together.

Wow! This book was so good !! The whole series took my breath away with all the twists and turns keeping up late at night but so worth it in the end. You may not know it but you need this series and it flies by so fast because you can’t put it down. Reader beware of content and dark themes this is a dark romance and you should check for author notes for content awareness.

Beautifully Savage was the 4th and final book in the Secrets & Scars series. Everything that I thought I knew (from previous books) seemed to be completely turned on its head. With Abbey & Ringo stuck in the middle of it all. Secrets, lies, family and underhand people were all major factors in this finale. Just that more sly and underhand people came out of the woodwork and after reading this series they weren't all of the ones I thought they were. Just brilliant! This was a knockout ending to one hell of a read with all of the loose ends tied up perfectly. So Bloody good!

Ringo and Abbeys story continues, and this book had me holding my breath then shattering me. Ringo is such a protector and let me tell you he is a daddy bear you don’t want to mess with. Abbey is that momma bear you don’t mess with She is so strong, unapologetically fierce in this book. Their chemistry is off the charts with raw intense passion for each other. Tahlia is that fierce little sister who made me smile. Devon’s small parts had me swooning for him all over again. I just love Hush and how scarred these big grown men are of her. There was nothing I didn’t like about this book. It has all the hurt, pain, trauma, healing and love with a great conclusion to the Fox Pines universe. I will miss all of them.

This is when we meet sweet and fierce Abbey Delany. She was such a word vomiter who made me giggle. Ringo was this tough biker dude who kidnaps her but then becomes her protector. He helps her through some of her trauma.

Beautifully Reckless in August 2025
Abbey strength and voice is coming back. Ringo gives us his trauma story. This book had happy and sad tears.

Beautifully Shattered end of August 2025
I never cried so hard for a book. Ringo is patient and gives her all his love. Abbey is so strong in this one. She’s becoming the monster they made her into. This book has loss, vengeance and found family.

I loved this book. I loved this entire series!
Abbey and Ringo stole my heart and had me rooting for them from the very start! They might have came from two very different worlds, but they were the perfect match for each other in every way that matters!

Once again, there were things that unfolded in this book that I never could have predicted. I had so many emotions reading this one and cried many tears, both happy and sad. My heart hurt for Abbey and Ringo and all the crap they were put through, but I’m also so glad they finally got their HEA!

This entire series had me in a chokehold, and while I’m never thrilled when an amazing series comes to an end, I will admit that this final book wrapped things up beautifully! 🙌 I’m so glad we got to see some appearances and mentions of characters from previous books, and I truly hope this won’t be the last we see of Ringo and Abbey or any of the Southern Sadists. I will always want more! 😉

Wow what a book. This is such a perfect ending to this series. The highs and lows that you feel along with the characters is just amazing.
I really didn’t want this one to end.
Abbie and Ringo are on the hunt for what is truly hers and they will stop at nothing to get it back.
Please check your triggers this is a dark motorcycle romance and it is fairly dark in places.

This whole series has my heart
I’ve never found myself so invested in the main characters story like this one has had me wanting more and more. Abbey and Ringo deserve so much happiness and the ride Sarah JD takes us on through this whole series is insane
Leaving me shocked and speechless at all the twists and turns that’s made this whole series the unbelievable series it is
Can not recommend this series enough start from book one and trust me this series you don’t put down
The build up the world building the characters seeing them go from strength to strength

The last books seemed like they had a lot more substance. This one fell a little flat. Not a lot going on. Loose ends tied up with a neat bow. Idk, I just feel like something else could have happened. Still loved it and glad for the happy ending.

Once again this author reaches in your heart to give it a squeeze and a twist just so you feel the pain of what Abbey and Ringo have been through and are still having to go through misery, but this time they're not backing down as they're fixing problems, and taking out the trash.
Oh my lord this author knows how to tell a story that'll have you in those feels. We finally get answers from the secrets of these two that you'd get pieces of here and there.

Abbey, Ringo and more

Abbey has really grown throughout this series. We have seen her go through so much, endure, process, learn, and mature. She has gone from being manipulated, abused, violated and lied to, to a strong fierce, protective and take no mess woman. She and Ringo fight together and love hard. They got justice and they found the truth in this last installment. Most of all they got a HEA finally. Trigger warning there are some parts that may be sensitive for some readers.

Man I freaking love Cameron “Ringo” Musgrove! He is such a teaddybear!

I was worried that this book, being the series finale, would leave something unfinished but Sarah JD has answered all the lingering questions and thankfully given these characters the ending they deserve!

The ride was emotional and traumatic and flipped things we thought we knew upside down leaving us bewildered! Making the ending all the more sweeter!
