The refurbishment of the Partick Bunhouse Café is championed as an example of what can be achieved when people from every background are trained to learn skills to improve the local community. There is only one problem. The trainees are getting murdered. That’s to say, one trainee is murdered, and DCI Patterson fears another murder could happen soon if the killer isn’t caught quickly. Yet, Patterson’s investigation is hampered by everyone in the local community pushing their own agenda about who the killer might be. When Patterson himself comes under personal attack, he is in danger not only of being replaced on this investigation but being put out to pasture for good. If he doesn’t find the killer quickly, the Murder at the Partick Bunhouse Café may well be DCI Patterson’s last ever case.
Originally from Glasgow, Will Cameron now lives in Lincolnshire. Having written for many years, he started to publish his books on Amazon in 2021, beginning with An Immoral Murder. This was the first in the DCI Patterson series, followed by The Glasgow Subway Murders and Glasgow Psycho. A fourth in the series, Murder at the Partick Bunhouse Cafe, will be published in late 2025. A standalone thriller, The Birdman of Sauchiehall Street, was also published in early 2025. When not writing, Will runs an online jewellery shop and can usually be found cycling around the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside.
Another great read from Will. I love Mike and hopefully he will find love again after the death of his wife who he loved even though sh I Ie abused him. He is a true gentleman. He is a great boss and has a sharp mind. The story has twists and turns that you don't expect and keeps you intriqued til the end. Can't wait for the next one
