Marrying My Ex’s Dad

Rate this book
Most fathers give their son’s bride a gift. I gave her a ring.

She needed a fake date to fool her sisters.
I gave her a private jet, a suite with one bed, and a reason to forget his name.

The second she touched me, I knew.

She wasn’t mine to take.
But I’m taking her anyway.

Because my son broke her.
And I don’t share broken things. I keep them. I fix them. I own them.

Now she’s walking down the aisle in a dress meant for him…
and I’m the one waiting at the altar.

Let them whisper. Let him scream.
She was his mistake.
She’s my wife now.

She thought she needed an out.

I gave her an heir instead.

Read on for fake fiancés, ex’s dad obsession, wedding sabotage, and a silver fox who makes her forget the ex who begged first. HEA Guaranteed!

low commitment, estranged Daddy rescues h from bad relationship with his son. Been reading a few of these lately. the silver fox, secret baby taken up a notch. This one includes coast exotic luxury settings, and some vanilla characters. I finished the book but nothing much was memorable except fmc has a unique spelling of Abi. Sexy times were kinda cringe.

It’s Abby’s dialogue, but the comment is about him leaving a lipstick mark on her cup. About 55% into the book and I copied and pasted the picture of the page.

across from me without invitation, reaching for my drink.
"I knew you'd come to your senses." He takes a long sip of my chai, leaving a lipstick-stained rim on my cup. "Though this place is a bit... pedestrian for my taste."
I pull my drink away from him. "Don't get ahead
of yourself, Samuel. This has to stop."
"Stop what?" He adjusts his Rolex, the flash of gold catching the light. "I'm just having a friendly chat with my soon-to-be-girlfriend again."
"Enough. The calls. The texts. The showing up
at my office."
"Come on, Abs. We both know what this is about." He leans forward, lowering his voice.
You've realized I was right and you want me ack."
"You really think everything's about you, don't u?"

too disjointed

It was so obvious two authors tried to write this book! Blurb is wrong! Time jumps without explanation. Inaccurate plot lines. Very disappointing. Won’t read them again.

Awesome

The back and forth as Abi chose her future was a heck of a ride! Deceit felt like the top of everyone’s to-do lists. And her sisters were judgey! Super fun story to read and loved the ending.
