Neva Post grew up in a log house in Interior Alaska where she walked uphill both ways to school at temperatures of negative forty with only the aurora borealis to light her way. At least, that’s how she remembers it.

She’s equally happy on a snowy trail or coaxing vegetables to grow in her garden during the long Alaskan summer days. When she’s not waxing skis or chasing voles out of her cabbage, she’s at her computer. Neva’s novels include paranormal elements—she can’t help it—with smart and dependable characters who always get their HEA.

I love this series, so when I saw this novella I snagged it right away. This was a cute read with mutual pining and a couple that I found adorable! The FMC is the non-human in this one, and seeing the MMC fall for her despite her different looks was so sweet. Being transported to Alaska with its beauty and dangers was awesome, as always with this series. I can't wait for my next dose of Yetis!

I love this series, it is so sweet and I love that everything always works out for the characters. It is my favorite fluffy, easy reading series. Being trapped due to an avalanche and having to stay in a remote cabin is a scary situation but I like that it turned into a sweet and romantic situation instead.

He went north for quiet. What he found was a yeti with secrets.

Pema keeps to the edges in Palmer, Alaska, running an underground food business and doing accounting for a guiding service. Being a yeti means staying hidden, guarding her truth, and trusting no one. But when Jack Hughes shows up during a snowstorm looking for his sister, her quiet world starts to shift.

Jack wants a reset, a break from a life that stopped feeling like his. He doesn't expect Pema, or the way she challenges everything he thought he needed. One night stranded in a mountain cabin sparks something neither of them can ignore. The avalanche outside isn't the only one they have to face.

Fear doesn’t vanish overnight. Pema pushes Jack away before she even knows what she wants. But some things are harder to forget than others. When she finally shows up on his doorstep, it’s the first move toward something real.

Now they're building a life together, one moment at a time. What started in secrecy becomes a partnership grounded in trust, shared ambition, and showing up for each other.

Pema grows from guarded and self-reliant to open and emotionally brave. Jack finds stability, purpose, and love in a life far from where he started. Together, they move from cautious connection to deep, steady intimacy.

A steamy, grumpy sunshine, yeti-human romance that explores identity, trust, acceptance, vulnerability, belonging, transformation, love, and partnership. It’s about letting someone in, choosing each other through uncertainty, and being truly seen.

I received an ARC and leave this review freely.

I enjoyed Neva's latest addition to the series and the gender swap, with the yeti FMC, Pema, and the human MMC, Jake. I was curious how Neva would handle this. Why would a man want to be with a yeti, but she did a great job. I really believe Jake when he compliments her on her skin, fur, eyes, lips and body. He's romantic, patient and honest from the get go. I loved that about him. Pema has a hard time trusting in general, moreso with humans. This is a quick, sexy, short story, and I recommend it along with all the others in the series. There are 2 spicy scenes. There's also an exciting action sequence, and a forced proximity in a cabin for shelter from a storm, combine sleeping bags for warmth trope!

Yeti For Love is still my favorite of the series.

4.5 stars. This novella is dual POV, well written and edited, and a sweet and steamy, female yeti (Pema)/male human (Jack), forced proximity, contemporary romance. I empathised with Pema’s concerns about human trustworthiness and reliability. I enjoyed her initiative and determination to enjoy life within her restrictions. I enjoyed Jack’s willingness to follow his instincts and his adventurous focus. I enjoyed the way they genuinely enjoyed the different facets of each other, as well as their mutual attraction. I enjoyed that Pema was the non-human character. I enjoyed the steamy intimate scenes and chuckled at the interruptions to bonding. I enjoyed seeing Pema become confident in the stability of their relationship and fully commit.

I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.

This book is so fun! I love monster romance, but 99% of them are about male monsters falling in love with humans. It is refreshing and unique to read one where the monster is female! It is also an interesting mix of romcom and monster romance. The yetis in this book are not ancient, savage beasts with mystical powers or fated mates. They drive pickup trucks and work day jobs to make rent!

Plus, “Snowed In” is one of my favorite tropes, and the setting feels very authentic. You can tell the author really is from Alaska and loves her home state. And I love how low-stakes and almost angst-free the plot is. Sometimes that translates to passages that feel almost Hallmark-level pat, but then the author throws in a line like “Nothing about a diaper for two sounds attractive” and I’m howling with laughter!

This was another great addition to the series and I love that our 'monster' is a gal this time. Pema is a yeti that knows she needs to stay hidden. Jack, a human man, is looking for a life reset but also looking for his sister. When these two find each other, they have a strong connection. Thankfully, they have some forced proximity to help them deal with their differences ;) Jack was so honest with her and Pema really grew from a guarded gal to one that is emotionally brave. So good and I was thrilled they got their HEA :D

Gleeful Goblin Review: While I've loved all the books in this series I gotta say I have a little extra affection for books where in an M/F dynamic it's the lady who is the monster/alien/cryptid. This book is no exception. Unlike many of the books in this series, this story takes place largely indoors and trying to stay out of winter weather! If you're looking for a short, fun, "steam up the office windows while waiting out a storm" type of afternoon read then look no further. 5/5 Stars.

This book wasn’t bad, it just didn’t feel as multi-dimensional as I would have liked. Maybe I’m being unfair but it felt like “guy meets yeti, instantly falls for yeti, they spend a few days together, then decide to spend their lives together. End of story.” I do know the “insta-love” trope has never gone over well with me, so maybe that’s it. I also read this to complete a reading challenge, and I’m thinking human/monster romance is not my thing either. I know some people love it, that’s cool, but it’s not for me. No shade to the author or people that love it!

I have read some of the series and enjoyed this given it was in many ways, a role reversal. As in the female character is the yeti. :} Pema works in the Mountain Guiding Service and is made to go on a hunt for Jack's sister. Stuck in a cabin, after an avalanche, these two have to put aside differences in order to survive.

This is a wonderful book filled with fantastic characters. Pema, being a Yeti, faces some unique challenges that make it difficult for her to run a business or be in public. Jack meets her while he's checking on his sister's safety, and soon, a lovely attraction blossoms between them. I really enjoy how they overcome their differences and find their happy ending. Truly an excellent read!

Jack needs to find out if his sister is alright and Pema is the only one who can help. Dealing with avalanche, incredible wind, and well intentioned cousins makes first impressions frantic at best. Thank goodness for momos the perfect remedy. I devoured this book in one sitting... I couldn't put down!.

Pema is a yeti living in rural Palmer, Ak working for a back country skiing business doing their books at night. She also makes Tibetan momos for a human catering company. Jack went to the ski business looking for his sister and encounters Pema. Enjoyed their sweet beautiful yeti/human love story. Received a free copy.

This has become a series that I look forward to a new book drop. I flew through the first five and I was excited to see what it was like for a human male to find his yeti love. This feels like such a rarity in paranormal romance. I loved this not only for myself, but for Pema. She’s surrounded by so many male Yetis that are getting their happily ever after and this book finally gives her chance!

A cute almost insta love story. A love found in a strange place by a human with a big heart. His love for his sister finds his other half. Mild heartache while they discover the best solution for living together.
Loved it

This was a rather short story and I was excited that the pairing this time was a female yeti with a human man. It was spicy and sweet, and I loved their relationship development.

I loved this book. The Yeti is a female in this one. I always like a female monster time to time. Female monsters need love too! Would recommend this one.
